Dr. Michael Augustus Barkasy JR., MD

I was attempting to make an appointment for my 3rd time for the same condition. The receptionist was attempting to collect from the last visit which hasn't cleared the insurance company yet. My condition is ongoing. i have been a patient for 12 years and have never missed a payment or been late on any. I find this treatment completely uncalled for.

I waited for 40 minutes to see him and he spent less than 10 minutes with me.

Dr. Barkasy is always rushed. He is always late for his appointment. His office is convenient and his hours are convenient but my suggestion is to be the first one his schedule because he will only be about 10 or 15 minutes late for the appointment. And he does not call you with results of testing he orders. I had to call the office 6 times before I got my results.

Pompous physician with incredible staff. Doctor thinks he is better then everyone else. Know it all

The staff is what makes this physician. Dr. Barkasy is always late. He is one physician who thinks his time is more valuable than anyone else's. I finally left the practice but it took me a while because I love the staff in the office

Refused to treat a family in crises. Was to busy having dinner and when we came to his office ten minutes late because our son was having a break down he refused to treat him because he had to have lunch. I guess he likes food more than his patients.

Incredible doctor! I am the mother of 5 young children and I would never think about taking them to a Pediatrician. Dr. Barkasy is a very well respected physician in the area and by far the most intelligent. Entire family sees Dr. Barkasy who takes his time, diagnoses is always right on and his patience is a virtue!

I had not seen a doctor in 30 years. I had no interest in seeing a doctor because I knew they were going to tell me everything I didn't want to hear. I started seeing Dr. Barkasy in 2010 and I know follow-up with him on a regular basis. He doesn't just diagnose me and send me on my way. He takes his time with me and gives me ideas of how I can improve my health. Dr. Barkasy cares about his patients.

Used to go to him for years.. Was a great dr. and then he changed. He turned into this rushed dr. who was in and out and didn't want to spend time with you. Also started to blow me off and really messed up with my family really bad.. Father can't use his arm anymore because this Dr. misdiagnosed him. He is a mess!

Have been a patient of Dr Barkasy for about a year. He takes his time with me, lets me express my thoughts, and explains everything in detail. I have had many many doctors during my lifetime and I rate Dr Barkasy as being at the very top. Wish all were like him.
