Dr Baskies was awsome. U would never know i had surgery 3 months ago. I would recommend him to anybody that wants things done right. Thank you Dr Baskies for giving me my ability to use my hand wth no pain ????

All is one star reviews are so accurate and exactly what I experienced!! He is arrogant, rude, condescending, insulting and just wants to get the visit over with as soon as possible. He doesn't care what you have to say and what kind of pain you are experiencing. I don't know how this guy became a doctor.. He actually told me "I'm not gonna tell you what you wanna hear".. and to go see another doctor. Worst doctor.. A true disgrace!!!

Dr. Baskies successfully performed surgery on my hand. I found him competent, clear, concise and direct. And, as an added bonus, it was easy and straightforward to deal with his office staff.

We had xrays taken which were never reviewed or discussed. I was told to just go home, take an aspirin for my nerve pain and wait for the issue to cure itself. I still don’t know if there’s damage. Total jerk.

A lot of the negative comments have been about his personality. I haven't had a problem with that. As far as the office, I've been there multiple times for problems with two different fingers, and I'm amazed at how fast I'm in and out of there. I read other comments about long wait times, but that has not been my experience. There was a comment about how painful the injections were. Yup, mindblowing pain. But I don't know if there is any better way. After injections didn't work, I opted for surgery. It was my choice whether to do another injection or go straight to surgery. He worked on one finger two years ago, and another last week. What you want is a surgeon who will fix the problem properly, with no infections or complications afterwards, and that is what he provides. There was a comment about his not providing information about physical therapy. On the contrary, he is quite insistent that you start PT as soon as possible after surgery. I can see where some would like a doctor with… a softer personality, but I'm sticking with Dr. Baskies.

I went to Dr. Baskies for advice on arthritis and trigger fingers. He never said hello or shook my hand upon meeting me. He said he could do nothing for the arthritis, but gave no suggestions on medication to relieve the pain. He said steroid injections would help the trigger fingers. With NO WARNING, or cold spray, he injected my right hand in the palm below the finger. I let out a scream to wake the dead, it hurt so much. I apologized, but he didn't. I asked for novocain before the second injection, he just said" it's in the injection", and proceeded to give it again. I managed to grit my teeth and not scream, but it hurt just as much. He then said "I'll see you in 6 weeks for the next set", and walked out. Yea, right, like I'll go back there. What a butcher!! Never, never go to this man. Unless you enjoy pain and rudeness.

Had been suffering with hand & forearm pain for months & waited over 2hrs to see dr.baskies & when he came in he was rude & didn't help me one bit! Didn't even look at my hand & just wanted to get out of there so he actually said I CANT HELP YOU... and left the room! Would NEVER recommend anyone to him

Don't waste your time

What an arrogant doctor!!! Did nothing for us. Came in for a minute talked down to us. Did not give us any information nor helped us at all. He needs to go back to school to learn how to speak to people. He is a true disgrace to doctors!!

This Dr does not think that physical therapy after an approved orthopedic surgery is necessary. He is merely a rubber stamp Dr that works for the insurance companies. this Dr should be avoided.
