Dr. Michael Frederick Bierer, MD

The Bierer's have no social skills. Linda speaks in unintelligible non-sequiters just, because she cannot resist being nasty. I wish that Academy could prevent MD's with Cluster B personality disorders from obtaining a medical license. The best day at Bronx VA was when Linda was terminated.

Abrupt, , cold,distant and has a mind set. Condescending manner. Staff doesn't answer phone,so can't reach him promptly. Watches the clock to make sure he doesn't spend too much time with you.

Do not waste your time with this doc. Condescending, uncaring and noncompassionate. He is not a pain doctor...does not care about the patient. You can suffer and he will only give you what he wants to. Will not ask what is helping again only prescribing his desires. Wrote 3 wrong scripts and my pharmacist could not fill it. Anyone with chronic pain from a medical condition should consider a doctor that understands diseases. He only deals with drugs not medical conditions. Worst experience of my life with any MD. His secretary is great and his assistant but he is a total loser. Does not listen to the patient and does not care. The only thing that would save this doc is for him to be a victim of severe chronic pain himself and understand what the patient really is feeling. I truly believe this guy never has had any severe pain in his life. I finally found a doctor that understood my problems. I am finally able to have a fairly normal life again. Thankfully, there are… doctors that did go into medicine to help people and do not let them suffer endlessly as this doctor did to me for many months. Do yourself a favor and find someone else and run as fast as you can in the other direction if you are inclined to make an appointment with this doc.

Dr. Bierer was able to help me learn how to control my Medications, I am in need of pain medication due to chronic pain due to many surgeries in my life time on my Shoulder, Back, Hip,and Ankle. I will need him to follow me for the rest of my life however short it will be due to multible medical problems.

Dr. Bierer knows what he is doing. He is up to date and comfortable with the latest in diagnostic technology. While he is busy teaching and has limited office hours, you have his full attention at an appointment.
