Dr. Michael F Bischof, DO

When using these physicians, just read EVERYTHING you sign very closely and make sure to explicitly ask about any and all tests that may be performed on you. During an annual check-up, certain blood tests were conducted that I was neither aware of nor notified about and of course, I was charged for them. I was later told the waiver I had signed was considered consent. Caveat emptor. I also cancelled an appointment earlier in the year after sitting in the waiting room for 45 minutes. I am currently looking for a new physician. The care I received here was never particularly noteworthy.

this doctor, by far, is the best doctor I ever had. he recently retired. I truly miss him

Arrogant and won't listen to you. Has a heart of ice. Needs to retire.

Dr. Bischof has been my Doctor since I first moved to Tucson in 1986. He was my husband's Doctor until he passed away in 1995. I moved away for 8 years after my husband died and then returned in 2004, at which time I returned to Dr. Bischof for Primary Care. The same staff were there and treated me as if I had never left. I have received wonderful care under this Doctor's practice and would not go anywhere else. If and when I have Labs done, which I do, twice a year or more, they call me the very next morning with the results and send me copies of the tests in the mail. He has added a P.A. (Nicole C) to his office and I have been seeing her for my annual physicals each year and have found her to be very thorough and personable. Between Nicole and Dr, Bischof, I am more than satisfied with the care and treatment I have gotten from this office for more than 30 years. I have referred several friends and family members to this practice over the years.

Doctor is never in a hurry to get you out of there and on to the next patient. 15 years with Dr. Bischoff. I prefer D O's anyway. I just hope he doesn't retire before I die.

The office staff at the Thornydale office is very rude. I have only ever seen his PA at that office, but in theory he is my Doctor. Probably for not much longer, however, because they never even called me back following up on an appointment for my yearly physical. When I do call the office they seem disinterested.

Was told I had to come to office to fill out paperwork, so left work early and spent 1 hour filling out numerous forms. Then was told it would be 3 weeks till I could request a appointment. After more than 3 weeks someone calls me to tell me the doctor is not accepting new patients. I guess they don't care about wasting other people time or they are incompetent.

Good luck trying to reach them on the phone. No one ever answers. Other than that, the service is good.

Absolutely the best. Have been going to him for 15 years and always takes plenty of time.

What more can you ask? Specifically now, as I get "a little older," I appreciate that I am reminded at regular intervals to be tested. Dr Bischoff has always explained everything clearly and completely, and answered any ?s I had.
