Absolutely love Dr. Blaney. Was 100% comfortable and felt very taken care of before, during and after surgery. So glad I chose him!

I had a great experience with Dr. Blaney and his staff until I was lied to. I had gastric bypass, revision and reversal. I'm not on here to bash him. I'm just explaining what happened to me. Dr. Blaney was a caring physician and always made sure his patients were taken care of under his care. I'm sure there are more patients that have no issues, but I wasn't one of those. I would have handled this a lot better if I wasn't given false hope. I'm truly sad that things ended like this and I have no answers. My health is still declining and all I want is answers to what is going on that Dr. Blaney backed out of surgery after sending me to more classes, pre-op and showing up for surgery. I've been to see other surgeons and after going over my medical notes, they turn me away. I wouldn't have another weight loss surgery now, if I could because I'm scared of what's really going on. I continue to throw up, can't eat a lot of foods and a lot of other health issues. I truly couldn't ask for a… better doctor until I was reversed and when I went in for the Sleeve. I honestly just want answers on what's wrong inside of me. I wish Dr. Blaney only the best. I had health issues. If he didn't do the sleeve at reversal, why did he have me go through all the procedures of having the sleeve a year later to be turned around. Not truly knowing why and what is causing all my problems now, is very concerning and disheartening.

This is a bogus Site. I suspect I know who the patient is that wrote the comment in Nov 2019 but can't know for sure since this site does not allow for names unless you put it in your comments. There are additional one stars with no comments so anyone can come on this site and start putting anything down and no one will know who it is. Even if a comment is left who knows if it's even true. Additionally, to be a verified patient all it takes is self verifying as I have done here. Regarding the comments left Nov 2019 one can see that she loved me before and unfortunately she had problems that necessitated care that she did not like, but that was the right thing to do. As surgeons we have to make decisions in the operating room that is in the best interest and safety of the patient and that sometimes means changing plans. Besides the facts are not correct either. I'm sorry for that but surgeons can't fix everything.

Dr Blaney and his staff were great. I was so hyped up hoping I could have the surgery but of course insurance wouldn't pay. So it was a big let down but after sitting through the seminar if my insurancce would have paid I would have definitely chosen Dr Blaney.

I have been a patient of Dr. Blankets since the end of 2017. He is a very kind and caring individual. He loves the work that he does. He enjoys helping people get their lives back:-).

Dr. Blaney is the best . He done breast cancer surgery on me twice and I have had no problems since. He is wonderful and down to earth and very compassionate with his patients. I would not use any other surgeon for anything in his field of course. Love Dr blaney

I absolutely love Dr. Blaney! And his staff are all very friendly. I am so thankful that I was able to obtain his services. I used him for bariatric purposes but he is also an excellent surgeon in other fields.

He Is the best! You will like him. He really cares.

I was having trouble swallowing. It was diagnosed as a form of achalasia. Dr. Blaney was recommended by my doctor. He scheduled me quickly. The esophageal surgery itself was done with minimal invasion. Recovery was very quick. His follow-up care was impeccable. I would highly recommend him. Appointments were always a pleasure. He is very personable and is willing to spend time explaining your condition and his treatment recommendations.

Dr. Michael W. Blaney, is the MOST AWESOME docter, I truly believe, Ive EVER HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET!!!!!!!!!!! He is the best at his chosen perfession!!!!!!!! He is actually 5 and a half hours from me, and Im going to use him for all of my future surgeries!!!!! Im already in the process of having him to do another surgery on my left leg!! He has already done my weightloss surgery, and now I am SO, SO IMPRESSED BY HIS WORK AND HIS PERSONALITY, IM USING HIM AGAIN!!!!!!! HE IS SO DOWN TO EARTH AND SUCH A REAL PERSON, HIS PROFESSION HASNT WENT TO HIS HEAD!!! HE IS STILL VERY HUMBLE!!!!!!!!!!!! "AWESOME DOCTER"!!!!!!!!!!!
