Outstanding surgeon!

After finally seeing Dr. Lim. I would have to correct my last review, below. He is very personable, and caring. The wait was long, but I believe it was worth it. I still think the drop-in system works better than an appointment. I expect to wait if I am a drop in, but a two hour wait after having an appointment is extreme. One lady told me on my way out at 2:00 p.m. that she had been there since 9:00 a.m. She probably was a walk-in. Somethings are worth the wait.

Ridiculous: 2nd visit to see this plastic surgeon, Dr. Lim. I was given a 11:30 appointment today after he didn't show up last week because they said he had a 5-hour emergency my last visit when I was told to walk in between 8 - 11. Last week, they took x-rays and gave me this appointment for today, 5-21-24,, after waiting about 3 hours. I was told that he would be here today, for sure. They are now saying he is between Doctor's Hospital and this clinic, and hopefully, I will get to see him today. I told them I would leave at 1:00 and requested another doctor if I didn't get to see him today. I decided to wait until 1:30, since that would be 2 hours. Keep in mind I has a 11:30 appointment. I see him now at 1:27 making his rounds to every room. Why make an appointment?

10am appointment 1120am still outside waiting to be seen. Don't get me wrong great doctor and nurses but talk about late, they overbooked I guess numbers get them the dollars needed but ruins the great care given when you finally enter.

I had surgery within 24 hr of a second degree burn and he didn't come to explain the procedure to me postoperatively. I had called him many times to let him know that i wished to speak to him and he didn't show despite being aware. According to a colleague of mine ( i am MD), he was agressive in his management. I don't even want to go back to him in outpatient clinic. I'll continue my care in Canada
