Dr. Michael Alexander Breda, MD

Dr. Breda has performed two surgeries on me. The first was a partial thyroidectomy and the second was a liver resection to remove a baseball sized hemangioma. Both operations went perfectly with no complications. He has a wonderful bedside manner, explaining procedures, risks, probable outcomes and anything else you ask, in a way you can understand. I would highly recommend him.

I had complicated diagnosis, but Dr. Breda offered me a solution. Surgery went flawlessly.Caring doctor, you can tell that has a lot of years of experience.

My wife is mentally ill and went through 3 major surgeries and wound up with an Ileostomy. She was released from the hospital May 6, was admitted Feb. 3. Everyone told her the Ileostomy was reversible, including Dr. Breda.A few days ago, he completely changed his tune, telling her the Ileostomy was not reversible, and that this was known all along. Yesterday, he got into a verbal fight on the phone with my wife, calling her names and telling her that 'the rich have priority over the poor.' He said he wanted nothing more to do with her.My wife is considering suicide right now, all because of this doctor's lack of compassion, ethics, and mis-diagnosis. PLEASE think twice before considering this doctor. He did a surgery on her in 2002 (for infections from a previous surgery), and then, he did a good job to where we trusted him. I don't know what changed, but it's like he did a complete personality change. Never in my life have I witnessed such unprofessionalism from a doctor.
