Dr. Michael Brit, MD

Dr Brit gave my life back to me. At first I didn’t understand his way if Interacting with me. After giving Dr Brit some time, I realized how great of a Dr he really is. I am now able to live a life that I thought could never happen. Dr Brit listens to all me concerns and talks with me about them. Although I don’t like having the interns sitting in, he has gave me my life back I will never change Dr Brit. Thank you so much Dr Brit!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Brit for many years and credit him for helping save my life when I was hospitalized. He invested the time and effort to figure out what was wrong and provided the answers and treatment I needed. He went above and beyond in providing quality care and he continues to do so. I highly recommend him and find him to be the smartest doctor I have ever been provided care by.

So sad to see his rating is not a 5 because he is a 5 to me. It took a longtime for initial appt but that is my absolutely only complaint.

DR. BRIT has given a smile to my face, something it hasn't known in many years. I am a young lady (30ish), diagnosed with JRA at the age of three(3) by Dr. Lawton, Vanderbilt Pediatric Rheumatology. Under his care (until the age of 18) his proper, knowledgeable care found this silent disease in remission twice. Thereafter my care was mismanaged and my joints suffered severe damage. DR. BRIT (after only two visits) has given me hope again just when I have experienced the lowest point in my life. Positivity and pure will to live a 'normal' life are MENTALLY KEY; without a doctor giving you this well...enough said, THANK YOU DR, BRIT.

Dr. Brit listens and reviewed my records. He was patient and had excellent bedside manner!

He doesn’t seem to care to listen to you. He brings in students learning and seems to only be interested in them! He’s arrogant! Has bad bedside manners! Never going back! I’m not paying him to comment about my weight! He has this attitude that all your problems are from being over weight! The worst docter iv ever met!

I took my wife in to see him. He had no interest in what her primary doctor had said. He sat there talking to us like it was a burden to be there, then asks my wife her symptoms in which he says well I am the doctor and you don't know more than me(his actual words) then sends us on our way no tests that she was there to get or anything. When we tell him that we are upset at his half hearted attempt to be a doctor he tells my wife to see a psyc doctor and then stormed out. Would not send my dog to him for treatment

I only seen Dr. Britt on time, He was very short with me, he was not interested in listening to me about of my problems, maybe it is due to my age, whatever the reason, I chose to see another doctor, his staff was very nice to me, maybe he needs to take lessons!!

Seems very arrogant. Spends more time talking with his medical students than his patients. Does not explain test results.
