Dr. broom performed a level 3 fusion on my lumbar spine. I was walking after surgery with a walker and two weeks later I am walking 2 miles a day with minimal discomfort. The pain in my legs is now gone. The office staff is great and I would use him again (but pray I never have to). I highly recommend him

I was referred to Dr. Broom by Dr. Tom Winters. After filling out all the paperwork, I saw him for (maybe) 10 minutes. He apparently ignored the paperwork, as I put down I had "tingling". He stated since I didn't have pain down my leg or in my pelvic area and had no tingling, I wasn't bad enough for treatment. He told his assistant to put me down for a year from now and when I said, "A year?" he changed it to six months. I can hardly walk any distance, I take pain medications, and doing much of anything around the house is nearly impossible. I'll be finding a better doctor and letter Dr. Winters know he might want to stop referring his patients to Dr. Broom.

My first visit in Dr. Brooms office was a great experience, not only was the staff professional but, they had smiles that could brighten any room or any grouchy person's day.??. Dr. Broom was a very good listener and very patient he explained everything to me about my back problems and he also referred me to the best Physical therapy group a lady could ever have in life. I was under his care for months, had physical therapy and started doing cortisone shots for my back. I had an MRI done and one of his PA's barely reviewed the test with me and said I had a herniated disc; a few days after I did the first shot I requested the MRI report and found out that I had 2 different discs herniated, on my next epidural shot appointment I told Dr Broom about it and he completely disregarded and said I'd have to do a follow up in 2 weeks for the shot and we could talk about it later. I also tried to ask about alternatives just in case the shots didn't work before actually having to have a surgery done and he said the same thing to follow up and we would talk about it, I also asked for another pain med since mines are not very effective on me and he said to wait a little bit longer and mentioned I should try a muscle relaxant with my meds to have a better effect, the thing is I have been on muscle relaxants for months and the last one was provided by Dr Broom and he… didn't even know that. At this time, I have changed doctor's since I have no trust in a doctor that doesn't tell their patients what abnormalities they have after reviewing an MRI.

Very happy with the way Dr Broom and his staff treat me like family when I come in for check ups.
