Dr Heard is the best. He is outstanding in technical expertise in hip and knee replacements (I’ve had both from him over the past 15 years). He is precise, conservative in practice and a perfectionist in his work. Even though he is extremely busy, he always takes his time with patients. Couldn’t ask for more

Dr. Heard is a professional and expert in Orthopedics. He evaluated my knee issue with skill and patience. His advice shocked me! Fully expected to have knee surgery for torn ACL and meniscus. After his testing my knee, he recommended not having surgery-wow, that was surprising. Treated me with an exercise therapy plan with follow up in 1 month. He also informed me I would NOT be playing professional football in my future but could continue normal life activities with some limitations. His bedside manner was Extraordinary-listening and writing my concerns along with his diagnosis. Best doc I've seen in Orlando! KT

I saw Dr Heard regarding knee problems , one of which was a 2016 Knee Replacement done by another Dr, and it went wrong. Dr Heard took the time to check my knees thoroughly and to explain the problems facing me. He is a very caring Dr. and listens to his patients.

I have severe pain in my hip which is causing major problems walking and sleeping. I was referred to Dr. Heards office and was unable to obtain an appointment for a month. I was told because I had seen another Orthopedist 10+ years earlier that this was considered a "Second opinion" and that Dr. Heard only see's 1 second opinion patient a day. I scheduled the appointment for a month out and called the office as the pain became more severe to see if they had any cancellations and was told since I was a "2nd opinion " patient the only way for me to take a cancelled appointment was if it was an appointment cancelled by another "2nd opinion" patient. Dr. Heard may be a wonderful Doctor - I will never know as his staff is rude and uncaring so I found another very reputable Dr. who staff was caring and understanding and were able to get me in 2 days.

I have 2 arthritic knees that eventually will have to be replaced. I have a few other health challenges that contribute to my pain. Dr. Heard has always taken the time to listen to all my concerns before making an educated analysis on what I need to do to move forward. Most Dr.'s specialize in their little area and have no desire to hear any other long winded story about my health. He is a caring and compassionate Dr.

Had total knee replacement. Recovered quicker than people I've spoken to that had other physicans. Able to walk normanly. Do most anything I want do due and I'm pain free.Dr Heard is excellent physican.

I would recommend Dr. Heard for any type of orthopedic issue. He did a total hip replacement on me seven weeks ago and I am walking without pain, without assistance. He explained everything to me, answered any questions I had and checked on me daily while I was in hospital. He is caring, kind and excellent at what he does.

Two hip replacements and I'm only 43!! This guy is great. From the office visit to the surgery room where he filled my odd request for pictures of my hip bone. I had two surgeries and was back on my feet in 12 weeks, just in time for my 2nd year at Valencia College.

I work in the Healthcare field and work for a very busy Neurosurgical Practice so I know the logistics of getting back with patients in a timely manner. I need a Hip replacement very badly. The office staff did not get back with me after making several attempts to get the information I needed. My appointment was several days away and still nothing heard from Insurance dept re charges for 1st time appointment. When I called back to the scheduler, and advised that I did not get a response, and to cancel my New Patient Appointment, her attitude was apathetic and she said no problem, we will cancel without making any ditch effort to try to rectify the problem. Very poor representation of this office. If we get this type of care prior to care and surgery- hate to see what it would be like once I get surgery. I will be on my quest to find an Office who actually represents the Doctors' Mission and attitude of his/her practice.
