Dr. Michael Howard Brown, MD

I went to Dr. Brown with what he quickly diagnosed as overactive bladder. He was friendly, and listened well to me when I was talking and was great at setting my mind at ease (I had been worried about a serious condition). My only real complaint is the staff's phone skills. When I called to follow up, she sort of talked over me while I was trying to tell her what was going on with me -- basically she heard that things were good but I wanted a refill, and didn't let me be more specific. However, during my appointment, one of them remembered something I had mentioned in passing on the phone the day before, which helped the doctor before he even saw me -- kudos to her for that. They're also understanding about insurance issues, and very helpful with that. The office keeps more limited hours than I would like (closed Thurs, and close early on Fri), but they're not an ER so I can't really complain -- call during the day early in the week. Overall, I got what I needed and it was a… generally pleasant experience.

Dr. Brown is a great doctor. He is humorous and diagonsed my issues with great care. His staff on the other hand...most of the girls working there are friendly and helpfull, in fact very helpfull except for the main front desk person. Rude- is not a good description of her attitude but worse! If I didn't like Dr.Brown I would never NEVER go back there. I keep it very short, and say what I need to when I call or go there when dealing with her. That is the only downfall of that office.
