Dr. Michael Edward Cadra, MD

After earning his DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) from Washington University, St. Louis' School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Cadra completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the Los Angeles County/University of Southern California Medical Center. Additionally, Dr. Cadra received his MD from the University of Alabama, School of Medicine and completed training in general surgery at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology.

Dr. Cadra is actively involved in local and national professional organizations, maintaining fellowships in the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Southern California Academy of Oral Pathology, the American College of Dentists and the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology. Additionally, he maintains membership in the American Medical Association and the American Dental Association. His peers have elected him to the …positions of President of the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (2005), President of the Stanislaus Dental Society (2010) and as Chief of the Memorial Medical Center Medical Staff (2001-2003). He continues to serve on multiple committees at Memorial Medical Center and was appointed to the Sutter Health Central Valley Region Board of Directors in November 2009.

Dr. Cadra has served on the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Committee on Continuing Education and Professional Development since 2000, and currently chairs the subcommittee on anesthesia education. He is an active evaluator for the Dental Board of California's General Anesthesia Evaluation program. Current hospital appointments include Memorial Medical Center, Doctors Medical Center, and Stanislaus Surgical Hospital.
