Dr. Michael Anthony Cardenas, MD

Operative manner (pre & post) as good as it gets. Recommended him to my daughter and son-in-law who also thought he was excellent. From now on he's the only one we cutting on us. I especially appreciated him taking.the time to explain the procedure (my 1st operation) in way I could easily understand. After showing me the xray & mri pics, he even took a pen & paper and DREW the condition and corrective action. Regarding "cattle", the aveage hereford could probably spell better: staph, not staff; chute, not shoot.

dr. cardenas is an excellent dr. who provides great treatment to those in the greater san antonio area in a very responsible and professional manner. he is also a very kind and caring doctor. dr. cardenas has been my family doctor for approx 20 hers.

I am fortunate to have Dr. Cardenas as my surgeon. He is very caring and considerate. He explained in lay terms to my family so they knew what to expect and f/u care l needed. I would highly recommend him.

Doctor Cardenas spent something like four hours relieving me of "The World's Lagest Goiter" in 1994. Then, a few years later, he hacked a couple of sebaceous cysts off the back of my neck. After that, he removed one from my "Unhunh." Now I think I'll go back and have him whack out a ganglion cyst on my wrist that a lesser surgeon worked on a while back that just became twice as bad. I'm betting Doc Mike will "giterDONE!" (By the way, anybody ever wonder why it is that the ONE bad review for a man as good as Doctor Cardenas was written by an illiterate?)

If you want to go to a doctor in a large practice he is the one. Staff infection probable. Bed side manner non existent, aftercare, he doesn't care. "run them thru the shoot".

Dr. Cardenas was very nice and helpful.

Dr. Cardenas gave me much encouragement and did a good job with my surgery and mediport insertion. With Jesus' help, he saved my life.

Dr. Cardenas did a colon resection for me and was excellent at helping me understand what was going to happen, what was happening, and what had happened. in other words, he kept me fully informed and took the time to field ALL of my questions.
