Dr. Michael Joseph Caruso, DO

Went to see Dr Caruso regarding an eye infection that he had treated a year and a half ago. When he discovered I have a cataract and that another surgeon was treating me, he rudely said that he would not treat me(even though this eye infection had nothing to do with my cataract) and that I was putting him in the "middle". He made me feel like I had committed a felony! He wanted to know who I was using for my surgery and that they should treat me, not him(even though he treated me for the same infection a year and a half ago). I asked him he knew why I got this infection, and he replied "NO". Will never go there, again; nor will I ever recommend!

Dr Caruso saw me for an annual exam: I was pleased with his office staff as well as him and his exam & expertise. He was prompt, thorough and fully explained the results of his exam.

unable to get the right rx after 4 tries , and the entire staff couldn’t care less. Couldn’t even get a call back from the office manager, who is also dr Caruso’s wife.

Staff less than cordial. This includes surgery center as well as office. They were not exactly rude but were not welcoming, cordial, or friendly.

Was on vacation and had an eye infection, he saw me as an emergency and I was very pleased with the care, diagnosis and follow up with the eye problem. Staff was kind and efficient. Thank you.

I went for emergency care and was greeted professionally and waited only a few minutes. The front desk receptionist were polite and fast. The doctor was professional, caring and diagnosed the problem, took care of it and sent me on my way.the office called for follow up care. A very good experience. Thank you.

I wouldn't recommend this doctor, not even to my worst enemy.
