Dr. Michael Irwin Cheikin, MD

Dr. Cheikin is the most reliable, smart, and truly caring doctor I have ever seen. He is very knowledgable and I can honestly say my experiences seeing him has changed my life. As knowledgable as he is, YOU as the patient, need to be willing to put in the time and effort that your body needs in order to heal, but I will tell you from experience it is well worth it. I would recommend Dr. Cheikin 1 million times over to anyone. Any other doctor will push modern medicine and make you feel like a fool for what you are feeling in your own body, not Dr. Cheikin. He will always listen to his patients and never disregard anything you say. The staff are also so friendly and accomodating, more than any other doctors office I've been to.

I am a current client of Dr. Cheikin and am feeling great utilizing his supplements and dietary plans. The supplements alone made me feel much better and helped tackle some of health issues I was experiencing. The dietary guidelines are customized for each client based on extensive blood work that he analyzes. The guidelines might be tough, but if you are seeing a holistic healthcare provider, then you are willing to make necessary changes for your health and wellness. I enjoy the research and information he provides; it helps explain why I am taking certain supplements and what effect certain foods have on the human body. I highly recommend Dr. Cheikin if you are interested in holistic health.

Poor communication, arrogant when moody, takes it out on patients, $30 billing fee on top of co-pay, also I got a bill that I didn’t owe.

He seems like he is going to be thorough at first, and runs tons of tests. But he failed to explain things well- he spent tons of time telling me stories and jokes unrelated to my health, then rushed me out when I had questions about my test results. Do not recommend

Untrustworthy, does not communicate properly

He is brilliant, thorough, good listener, patient with my questions and concerns, and way ahead of his time. If you want cutting edge medicine, this is your guy.

Alhtough he was quite smart guy, his office does not follow him. Namely, he always comes late 35+' and then cuts back on my time of 30' for the appintment. Then he's heavy into some stupid halide test- do not allow to be put into that machine..! It's very dangerous as if positive on that test he might recommends you do Iodoral supplementation that might clog thryoid w/ crap called Potassium iodide that is usually givne to people in nuclar accidents liek Chernobyl. Office stuff cannot collect themselves w/ pt's checkout lists. He does not follow up w/ pt.s after visit. Other than that, rather smart Dr. and courtoeus on bedside.

I have been extremely pleased with the work I have done with Dr. Cheikin. If you are looking for a partner in the long term care of existing complex conditions or just an increase in health adn vitality, then Dr. Cheikin is your guy. From the first time appointment which lasted an hour to the yoga classes he teaches underneath his office, he is providing a very progressive type of treatment. My only concern has been the cost of the supplements I take, but they help me to feel so good, I'd take a second job to pay for them!
