Dr. Michael Keith Daines, MD

He is incredibly rude to clients who are nonverbal and cannot speak English. I would not recommend him to anyone due to the way he addresses clients. Does not explain anything just asks questions and prescribes. Ends sessions before clients are ready to leave. Out of about 15 appointments, one went excellent. Must have caught him on a good day that day. Also is very prone to calling in sick and staff does not call to let patients know. Staff has called at least 5 times to say he suddenly switched his scheduled days and need to reschedule. Once we had a follow up blood work exam. We were to return the following week after the exam- they called and rescheduled us 2 months out because he switched his contract days. That's fine and allowable, to switch contract days, but I felt he should have honored or made an exception for his client who Dr Daines had stated he had an urgency to see after that bloodwork exam

Dr. Daines has a great deal of knowledge. He is easy to contact if you are having a problem. He also gives good learning tools so you can help yourself as well.

I have been a patient of Dr. Daines for 3 years. He is an incrediably competent doctor. He is thoughtful, caring, and respectful. I had used several psychiatrist who were not able to help me in finding the right medicine combination for me. He has been incredibly thorough,extremely conscientious in working with my needs, and very professional. He has never given up on me. I can't say enough positive things about him or his abilities. He has truly helped save my life with proper medication and supervision. Don't walk but run to him for help!
