I had an excellent experience. Dr. Davoren paid full attention to my issue a d was very understanding of my pain.

Dr. Davoren put me at ease immediately and competently explained what my initial surgery would look like and has competently explained what my follow-up surgery will look like. I highly commend him to others in need of surgery.

Dr. Davoren gave me a fighting chance, although a slim one, for survival while I was in septic shock and had rapidly spreading Nec Fasc. When other doctors said I wasn’t going to make it he said he wouldn’t accept that and had to try. I’m here today because of that chance.. He truly saved my life as did a huge team of people that night and in the following days. He will also be doing another surgery for me soon as my gallbladder is failing. I highly recommend Dr Davoren as he’s professional and he’s not afraid to spend the time to actually listen to you instead of the typical hi/bye you get from doctors. He truly cares. He’s also not afraid to go against the grain.

Dr. Davoren's explanation of my diagnosis was very easy to understand at my initial visit. Therefore, I scheduled surgery per his recommendation. The surgery was successful. My recent visit was a post surgery followup and the results were positive. He is very informative and relaxed in his communication to me. I am really impressed with Dr. Davoren. He is easygoing, relatable, and professional. He explained my laparoscopic gallbladder removal procedure to me in terms I would easily understand and took the time to answer all of my questions. The procedure went smoothly and there was hardly any recovery needed. I went back to work after 5 days and was I was able to eat normally after 10 days. 13 days post-op the surgical sites are all closed and healed, and I sincerely doubt there will be any visible scars when it is all said and done! A much better experience than I had from a previous laparoscopic surgery 13 years ago by a different physician. The staff is also very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I am really happy with Dr. Davoren and Midwest Surgical Associates!

great experience , felt at ease with what he explained and how his whole staff treated us . they were so accommodating and helpful. I live an hour and a half away from them because of how they treat me I will keep driving the distance.

Dr. Davoren is awesome! He works quickly and efficiently, but is also able to be very attentive and always has a thorough conversation to my needs and worries. He gives great detailed steps that are easy to understand and help in the decision making process. I come back to him because he's great and would recommend him to anyone!
