Dr. Michael Gerard Desalvo, MD

For years I had trouble with food getting stuck going down. It would choke me and would usually have to come up but that did not mean I could continue to eat. Nothing would go down for quite a while. I had several endoscopies, esophagus stretched, but that did not help. Dr. DeSalvo immediately identified the problem, spasms of a muscle below the esophagus, which explained why my breathing was never affected. He prescribed the medication that would solve this issue. I have not had a choking incident since following his recommendations. I am so grateful that I can eat a meal without choking and thankful I went to such an experienced physician.

Dr. DeSalvo is a great doctor. He did my son's eye surgery when someone punched him. He had to fix the eye socket. One of the sweetest and kindest doctors. Willing to sit with you and go over what is going on with you. I've never felt like I was being pushed out of the room.

I personally love Dr Desalvo. He is always willing to get to the bottom of things and fix it
