Dr. Michael C Desantis, MD

After being patient for more than 20 yrs., I have high respect for him. However, the office staff is terrible, and I am being kind! In the past it was warm, caring prompt service from all staff. Now you find interrogation, invasions of privacy, lectures from nurses not him, rudeness and unreliability to convey info to him. Admire him, but refuse to argue and be insulted on phone and in office. Look at your staff, Dr DeSantis!

DeSantis has become an uncaring place to be. In 8 years of my son's life, he's been with DeSantis and only this week did he notice my son didn't receive an INFANT VACCINE SHOT... seriously??? Even when he was only there a month or two ago being screened for the very thing this vaccine was to prevent?? Kinder screens include verifying all shots have been done as well as general health check. Still missed this even then???? HOW??? Yeah, changing offices and warning all others I meet. The place was a good one, now, I don't trust this guy at all... the nurse practitioner at least pretends to give a hoot.

It's very sad! This used to be such a great office to go to but now it's loud and unprofessional. When I'm there, I just seen like a burden. I've called there several times and no one calls back. You can't depend that the person on the phone will deliver the messages. Dr needs to re-evaluate some staff.

Unfriendly staff

The strangest experience Iâ??ve ever had with a doctorâ??s office. Scheduling an appointment was a unpleasant experience : personal medical, and financial questions asked by a less that friendly staff member (not a nurse). In 40+ years of component doctors, with professional staff, in many cities Iâ??ve never encountered this type of interrogation, it made me uncomfortable. Was I being vetted to fit some business plan??? Needless to say I did not pursue a relationship with Dr. Desantis.

Dr. DeSantis is a great doctor. I like seeing him because he's honest and tells you like it is. He spends time with you, I don't feel like I'm being rushed through my visit and I'm comfortable talking to him. I even drive about 35-40 miles to see him. I don't have many issues and don't have to visit often, but if I did, I would most likely still see him because you just don't find doctors like him easily anymore.
