Dr. Michael Donahoe

Dr. Donahoe, is extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and has an easy going personality. He actually listens to what I have to say concerning my eyes, and provides detailed and patient friendly explanations, which addresses all my concerns and future treatment. When my former opthamologist retired several years ago, I was concerned about finding a new doctor. Dr. Donahoe has exceeded all expectations. I have total confidence in him as my eye care physician and recommend him highly.

Straightforward and to the point. I'd only trust my vision with Dr. Donahoe!

After receiving my courtesy notice that it was time to schedule my yearly exam, I called and was given a time 3 months away. Then I received a notice that I needed to reschedule due to the doctor's change in schedule. When I called to make a new appointment, I was told it would be another several weeks before the doctor would be able to see me. When I arrived for the appointment, I was told my appointment was not with Dr. Donahoe. I refused to see the new doctor and was told it would be another 3 months before Dr. Donahoe would be able to see me. I have not been back.

I had seen another doctor in the same office and he had rushed through my exam and missed a tumor in my eye socket. I went back 1 month later and got to see Dr. Donahoe, he suspected something else within 5 minutes of seeing me and ordered a CT scan and found a cancerous tumor. As a result I was diagnosed and treated for Follicular Lymphoma and am currently in remission, after 8 years.
