Dr. Michael Prescott Donovan, MD

I have been going to Dr. Donovan for years, he always takes the time to listen to me and is very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Went to him 18 years ago. Made my ic condition worse. Put me on medicine for 6 weeks. Told me to stop it after - because it was making it worse therefore he send me to pt for fixing his mistake -horrible man

Great doctor and a very kind man. Likes the simplest solution possible. I have been totally impressed with his knowledge and attention to details.

Excellent care and follow up after visit

My mother, who is Dr. Donovan's client, needed a simple appointment change, and I tried and was kept on hold for inordinate amount of time, I left a message, and still waiting for a return call! In this day and age, a better call system would seem most appropriate, than placing people on hold, fire the communications specialist who recommended this phone system.

Dr. Donovan is great! Yesterday, I had a vasectomy, and remained engaged in conversation with Dr. Donovan throughout the procedure. It was nothing like I'd expected. Super-comfortable, and NO PAIN. The power of a class act doctor (and Lidocaine) were fantastic. Day 2: Keeping up with ibuprofen, I'm feeling just fine. Toying with the idea of going to the gym to play volleyball tonight. Thank you Dr. Donovan!!!

Reading reviews on these websites is like reading hotel views on travelocity. You cannot judge a providers proper care from internet reviews. Unfortunately it is way to easy to bash names online. Just remember there are always two sides of a story. I have been a patient here for years,the physicians at new england urology are the best in the area and deserve more credit for working hard. It is hard for people to understand these days that they also need to take responsibility for their own care, actions and even their own insurance issues.

Dr. Donovan's manner of delivery to patient and family about a serious medical condition showed little sensitivity and his diagnostis and strategy of the condition were poor. His lack of timely communication and followup only added to the frustration. While the office staff was very personable they were often very confused about procedures and schedules.
