Dr. Paul David Lafontaine, MD

Unprofessional, neglectful, incompetent… Clearly not what I’m expected from the urologist…

Dr. LaFontaine is caring and compassionate. He is very thorough and takes his time.

This doctor was on time and present for my whole visit. He addressed all my concerns. When I needed more testing the staff was prompt in ordering and his response with the results were quick and direct. There need to be more providers like him. He explained what was going on so I understood what was going on and how I can better control my issue. I recommend him highly.

3 years after my vasectomy I still experience pain. He seemed to be reading instructions for the procedure at every step because he didn't know what he was doing. He also used my chest as a table to hold his tools and papers during the procedure. Room was dirty and had visible old blood on the floor. Avoid this place.

the worst doctor I've ever experienced. surprised that he does what he does. cold and insensitive - not good with people. Plus I don't trust him and his ability to perform.

I would not recommend Dr LaFontaine. I do believe strongly that his lack of care of my husband contributed to his death

I had an appointment with Dr. LaFontaine regarding a concern about an abnormality in a CT Scan of my abdomen. Dr. LaFontaine was courteous, respectful, informative and extremely professional. He took time to go over the CT Scan and explain in detail what he saw and any concerns. He patiently answered all my questions and explain treatment options. I would recommend Dr. LaFontaine to anyone with Urological issues or concerns. Excellent.

Cold, bedside manner bad. Pain management was terrible, the reason I'm on here. Changed doctors.

The staff squeezed me in for an earlier appointment because I was concerned about the urine test results ordered by my primary care physician. Dr. LaFontaine explained to me the test results in great details and in a way a person without medical background would understand. I have got the assessment from another urologist (a personal friend who was not living in the Boston area), and his assessment was consistent with Dr. LaFontaine's. I think Dr. LaFontaine can be trusted.
