Dr. Drewek is a very knowledgeable and careful surgeon. His explanation of my spinal issues and resulting effects were clear, visible and easy to understand. He has a calm, friendly manner, an unhurried approach, and explained all aspects of the surgery carefully. He was positive and encouraging, yet direct in terms of what I needed to do to make recovery from this surgery successful.

After undertaking extensive online research and studying patient reviews, I contacted Dr. Michael Drewek for a second opinion regarding issues with my lower spine. Dr. Drewek was completely transparent and clear in offering his diagnosis and opinions for next steps, taking the time to explain everything and answer all my questions without being hurried. His compassion and genuine care for my well-being has been evident from the first visit with him through today as I continue to recover from surgery almost two months later. I cannot adequately express my complete satisfaction with Dr. Drewek and all the associated care and support he and his team have provided on this journey to wellness, and am truly grateful to have had the opportunity to allow Dr. Drewek to share his expertise in care and support with me. Dr. Drewek was very easy to talk with, well-informed, and pleasant. His review of my MRI was quite clear and his explanations of the surgical solution convincing. He's a very knowledgeable surgeon and received several recommendations from my friends. I would recommend him highly.

My recent lumbar surgery was the second surgery I have had, and Dr. Drewek performed both. The 1st was over 17 years ago and I’ve never had any problems until recently which is why I needed the 2nd surgery. Dr. Drewek is an excellent, compassionate surgeon. He listens carefully to patient concerns and cares about the practical outcome from his surgery, not just whether "the hardware looks good." He does his best to address any issues that arise, even when the cause may not be apparent.

Dr. Drewek basically gave me my life back! I had a lot of issues going on in the lumbar region of my spine, and had been experiencing pain and some loss of mobility for almost a year, all of which had limited or prevented me from doing almost everything that I loved. From my first visit with Dr. Drewek, he gave me hope, and he delivered. Immediately after surgery, yes, immediately, I was able to stand upright and walk without the pain that I had been experiencing for months, and that has continued to improve. I am only two weeks out of surgery and walking over a mile! And on a side note, Ortho Colorado Hospital is absolutely amazing also! I would HIGLY recommend Dr. Drewek and Ortho Colorado Hospital to anyone looking to regain their life from injury and pain! Thank you Dr. Drewek!!!!

Dr. Drewek an outstanding surgeon who is both kind and compassionate. He listens carefully to concerns and explains the whys and wherefores of what he's doing. I especially like his Wellness Loop web platform. His staff uses it to check in on how you're doing and offer tips and advice every day, both before and after surgery. They answer all questions and concerns promptly.

This was my 2nd spine surgery with Dr. Drewek. I would not think of going to anyone else. All of the Ortho staff were fantastic.

Great experience from the 1st phone call to schedule intake to days after the surgery. The team that makes it run like a smooth machine. All followed suit and checked on my progress and addressed any concerns or issues. 5 stars.????????
