Dr. Michael V Elman, MD

I do not often write reviews because of the time involved in doing so however after reading a couple of negative reviews I felt it was necessary to rebuttal them. My experience with the staff and Dr. Elman was excellent. Any time hat I have had to talk with the office staff or make an appointment they were very helpful and pleasant. I was greeted pleasantly when I arrived and while waiting for my appointment. I was taken in a timely manner and my appointment with Dr. Elman was great. He took a lot of time with me and I did not feel rushed. He explained everything to me about my medical conditions with my shoulders, what he could do for me and went over a plan. I felt comfortable and confident with his knowledge. I was called the following day (impressive) by MRI to schedule my appointment and then the following week scheduled for injections and an office visit to go over my MRI. Scheduling was easy and flexible especially with my crazy hectic schedule. I would highly recommend him… and his staff!

Any problems you have at this office that you think are the staff are actually just because of extremely poor management. Two or three people left to run an office while the manager maybe pops in once a month? Its absolutely appalling. I was a patient here for a long time. Maybe saw the manager twice and both times she was screaming at the poor girls in front of patients. It is my understanding they are left to do everything even manager duties. They have gone through 4 MAs in less than a year and a few secretaries. The two girls who worked their last summer were fabulous and it has been downhill since. It's a shame they cant keep decent employees, but I dont blame them for leaving. Either way treating the staff this terrible really reflects on how a practice thrives and this practice is a sinking ship. I refuse to give my time or money to people this rude and unprofessional.

I tried over a 2 day period to contact Dr Elman with no return call. I finally call again on the second day and received a call back from the office administrator. I was told they had another number on file and left a message but never mentioned I left my phone number in the message. I am in significant pain with a back issues that Dr Elman has been treating me for several years. I asked to see him today but was told he is too busy and the first opening they would have for me was Money (5 days away). They showed no concern for my condition and would not accommodate me in any other way. Be fore warned he has no concern for his patients other than for billing. I have advised his office that I would need to seek out another doctor and had no concern over my actions. Stay away from him!!

Doctor and his staff are the best

During the initial visit with Dr. Elman he was more concerned with responding to text messages on his phone than assessing my relative's problem. Furthermore, he needs to be taught to use a tissue when his nose is running rather than sniffle and use his sleeve. Would not recommend this doctor!

I was a patient of Dr. Elman. He is a very nice doctor. Smart and caring. Explains care and treatments, etc. very easily.

I went to Dr. Elman for a second opinion about my knee. The first doctor I went to spent all of 6 minutes with me and didn't explain what was going on with my pain. Dr. Elman explained everything to me, told me about options the other doctor never mentioned. I will recommend him to my friends.
