Dr. Michael Harold Finlon, MD

I would agree he's probably a good doctor for normal OB/GYN issues. My daughter saw him in the ER Oct. 2025 and decided to make an office visit with him. She was 15 weeks pregnant, was bleeding enough to fill a pad, lost weight and passed a huge blood clots (twice). He told her the bleeding and clot was abnormal but happens. Did NOT do an ultrasound during the office visit and scheduled an appt for her to return the next week where they would do an ultrasound. Two days later she had a miscarriage. Not blaming him, but he should have seen the signs and advised her of that possibility and perhaps sent her for more tests.

I had him as a doctor in 2006. I had a laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis. It was the worst surgery as it hurt my bowels. I had stitches coming out of my stomach and was sick for two years after the surgery . A two week recovery time turned into 8 weeks to walk. I really loved him as an obgyn if my issues were normal. I had to get a different doctor to treat my endometriosis.

Doctor Finlon was one of the doctors that took care of me while I was in the hospital. He was knowledgeable with great bedside manner. You can tell he is great at what he does.

Dr. Finlon has been my doctor for almost 5 years. I live in Atlanta and still use him as my primary OB/GYN. He has an excellent beside manner and genuinely listens to my concerns. His office follows up as necessary and are always professional. Dr. Finlon takes the time to explain medical terminology in "layman's terms" and I feel 100% informed when I leave his office. It's tough finding a doctor that is caring, accurate, and that is willing to listen to your concerns. I am fortunate to be his patient.
