I feel very fortunate to have had Doctor Flynn as my doctor.I can not thank him enough for the positive difference he has made in my life.The level of care that I received not only from him and his staff,but the ENTIRE surgical department at Memorial hospital! Thank you Doctor Flynn for putting me back together,it's been a journey to get here,but forever grateful.

Uro/Gyn surgery to remedy incontinence. Dr Flynn was polite, pleasant, professional at all times. Very thorough in assessment, explaining options, explaining all possible outcomes of surgery. I am so happy I had the sling procedure done, for me it was life changing! I can resume being active, travel, public speaking, etc without worry.

Went in for a stress incontinence problem. The doctor walked me through the whole sling surgery beforehand and kept telling me he couldn't promise it being perfect. Well, it was far from it. The incontinence was never fixed PLUS he gave me a massive hematoma (which we only found out about when I got urge incontinence and went back in for surgery 2 weeks later) He never seemed apologetic, had the nerve to tell me not to blame myself (of course I didn't blame myself!) At the 6 month checkup he also claimed the surgery was a success but he removed the sling because I insisted he do so (only because he thought the sling was to blame for the urge incontinence......once he got in and saw the hematoma he should have known better) I would never recommend him. I wasted time and money on him and am now going to a different surgeon to fix the incontinence.

I’m 6 wks post-op & cannot say enough about what a great experience I had with Dr. Michael Flynn & his medical team. Everything was explained to me thoroughly before & after surgery. I had been dealing with symptoms of vaginal vault prolapse for a few years and at the age of 66 it was really affecting the quality of my life. My gynecologist recommended that I make an appointment with Dr. Michael Flynn. Dr. Flynn thoroughly explained (in layman's terms) the various procedures and the benefits and risks of each procedure. Dr. Flynn did not pressure me in any way with choosing a procedure. I opted for robot assisted laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Flynn listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions. He made me feel at ease as I was very anxious about having any kind of procedure. Dr. Flynn is a very knowledgeable, personable, caring and respectful physician. Currently, I am feeling wonderful and enjoying life once again! I highly recommend Dr. Michael Flynn.

I was quite fearful because I was experiencing a situation I’d never had before. Dr. Flynn treated me as the individual I am, and kept me from getting out of control emotionally, and his assistant was so understanding as well. Such a calming doctor and assistant that I will complete my care with this office as needed.

I am an active mother of three boys. I struggled with stress incontinence beginning after the birth of my first son. I tried physical therapy and a pessary, but neither worked for me. I had the urethral sling surgery with Dr. Flynn seven months ago, and I have not had a drop of leakage since! It has been life-changing, and I wish I had the surgery years ago. Dr. Flynn was extremely thorough with his explanations of the procedure and potential risks.

He was incredibly rushed and haphazard. Did not rule out or explore other potential causes of symptoms. I chose a new uro-gyno and they were able to diagnose me a week later, and it was with something that Dr. Flynn never even discussed with me.

Had sling surgery. Received painful hematoma, excessive swelling, vaginal was closed shut after 2nd day. Could hardly walk to get to bathroom. Called and saw him 3 times, had haphazard attitude. Needed pain control and was made to feel like some drug addict so I went without. Chose a new urogyn to follow up.
