Dr. Michael N. Funk, MD

Best Cardiologist and Primary I have been a patient of Dr Funk’s for 13 years. He started out being my cardiologist and he is now also my primary doctor. He is very caring and compassionate. I am a high anxiety patient and he always reassures me of my worries and concerns. My well being is his first concern. I would highly recommend him. I believe he is only taking new patients over 65. He is also my husband’s cardiologist and primary. We couldn’t ask for better care. He has a wonderful team that he works with and the staff is very nice. I am very particular about my medical care and how I am treated. I can be a little difficult but not with Dr Funk. You couldn’t ask for a better doctor. I would give him 10 stars if I could. Had a great visit. My appointment was very early in the morning and the office door was actually opened by Dr Funk himself right on time. I am very impressed with both the Doctor and staff. Dr. Funk is very genuine, professional and a great human being. I would definitely recommend him.

A year ago I went to see Dr. Funk for a cardiac clearance for an endoscopy. His thorough exam and expertise prompted him to order a CT scan of my heart w/contrast. This test saved my life as it discovered a blockage and I required stents

Dr. Funk is very genuine, honest, professional and you can tell he truly cares about his patients. His staff is wonderful and the office is clean and comfortable. Best doctor I have ever had for primary doctor.

The doctor may be good. He is only as good as his staff. His staff is not good. They pass the buck and let things fall thru the cracks. His insurance person Michelle doesn't know what she is doing and cost me a lot money. Due to her incompetence.

Had a great first visit with Dr. Funk. Very impressed with staff and Doctor. I feel very trusting of the doctor's advice. Would definitely recommend Dr. Funk to others.

I had my 1st telemed appointment, I was a little anxious about using telemed but after talking to the office staff they helped me get the "visit" set up , they were so patient and helpful, I will be recommending Dr. Funk's off to all of my friends and family!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Funk for about a year and even though I have recently moved from the area, I still maintain my Dr./Patient relationship with him and his office. Dr. Funk and his support staff are the epitome of gifted, caring,professionals.

Recently moved to the area and had been referred to Dr. Funk. First Dr. in a long time that actually took time out to actually listen instead of just tying into a computer. Did I mention how professional and courteous the office staff was. This pandemic has been a very difficult time for everyone, Its nice to see such kindness .

Dr Funk is an excellent cardiologist practicing in South Florida. Being a New Yorker and spending a few months in Florida, I was not sure of which doctors were known for their expertise and great bedside manner. Well , recently had symptoms that warranted my concerns with my heart, I came across Dr Funks name with all 5 star ratings (and lots of them). After setting up a video visit recently I can reassure that he met all my expectations and more. Not only a great doctor but equally a great human being. Asked me so many questions and ordered diagnostic testing immediately. After all my tests were completed he called me back and in detail walked me through the results and still asked if I had more questions. Cannot praise him enough...he is excellent..."a no lose"
