Dr. Michael L Gambel, MD

I have been a patient for ten years, and I love Dr. Gambel. He is compassionate and honest and it is NOT about money to him. I have witnessed many things in the office to come to that conclusion. Dr. Gambel takes the time to sit down and listen to your concerns. He'll discuss your treatment options and make sure that you are satisfied. He is very knowledgeable and can diagnose just about anything. He is a family doctor but he also helps people with addiction without ANY judgement. I will never go to another doctor and I DREAD the say that he retires.

Pretty disappointed in this office lately, you can never get through to the front desk, you can never get an appointment when you need one. they do not return messages and the "office manager" is never available. The overturn in staff is ridiculous! They had a great staff for a while, not sure what happened to them? But whoever is in charge of the hiring needs to be replaced. I have been a patient of Dr. Gambel's for years and the practice is just going to crap. Hopefully there will be some changes in the future, because the way the office is being managed is a huge thumbs down.

This doctor ordered indiscriminate and unnecessary non-patient specific testing that increased my medical costs without serving my real medical needs. This doctor promotes and knowingly conducts medically unnecessary drug testing and therefore operates unlawfully and squanders our precious individual and federal health care resources. This testing was performed by Millenium Health LLC, a company well known for Medicare and Medicaid fraud. This testing was done without my knowledge and without my informed consent. When attempting to adress this situation, his staff became very rude and told me all new patients were given drug tests. They also seem to be dragging thier feet to keep me from viewing my medical records. A doctor and staff that are not concerned about patients rights.

I would NOT recommend this doctor. The staff is rude and not helpful.

This doctor is the worst of them all! I've been there 3 times and not once did this doctor bother to see me or check what was wrong with me! My whole visits was done by his assistants that I was not truly convince are capable of this job. I am really disappointed of the service and how the staffs are treating their patients are as also bad as that office looks like! The place was not clean, dusty and smells like mildew and moldy!!! Please stay away from that stupid doctor and do not waste your time and money for that lazy, unprofessional staffs!!! Did I mention that you will have to wait for 2 hours for the staffs to see you!!!! Horrible!!!! FTW!!!!

I was a long time patient at that office. I started going when I was kid when Dr. Kistler owned it. There were still two girls there from back then and that was why I stayed at same location. The yard is unkempt, the office dirty and the patients are always yelling and crying when Im in there. Word on the street is that this is a drug clinic. Im looking for a new doctor.

I had a sharp pain on my side for 4-5 days, and I finally called my Family Doctor to make an emergency appointment, and the lady who answered the phone was extremely rude. She said to me "Sorry, we're booked. Call back later" She had a snotty attitude and made me feel like calling ruined her whole day. And she hung up. Even without saying goodbye or without helping me find somewhere to actually go without going to the Hospital.Well, I had no other choice but to go to the hospital. And it turned out I had a double Kidney infection and the Doctor that saw me at the Hospital has more compassion in his left pinky than that whole Clinic does throughout! They're completely useless.I HIGHLY recommend that you don't go there. They don't listen to details, and they don't care about their patients.

everytime i was in the waiting room i would hear the front desk lady compaining after every call. At first it did not bother me. One day i ran short on an anti depressant effexor that has terrible side effects with withdrawl within 24hours. The min the lady heard the word withdeawl she gave me additude and put me on hold for 10mins. Nevermind that she didnt even take the time to find out what i was withdrawling from. Not that it should even matter anyway. This is not the type of person who should be working at an addition clinic. People who go in are having a hard enough time without having to deal with this. When she finally took me off hold she continued with her nasty additude and told me it would take her two hours to submit the script to my pharmacy. I waited two hours and thirty mins before calling back. Finally i got a hold of another person who said she would check into it. Finally it was sent in. I had my three kids husband and i going to dr gambel. I will never go back. Dont… change your doctor with your provider to this office. What a headache. Should not be so hard just to get a script for an anti depressant.

He is slow but he is worth the wait!

I would never recommend this man, I don't think he has cracked a medical book since he has graduated. His office staff are horrendous, unprofessional, and rude. ( I even had other offices (from referrals) comment on their staff, thats how bad they are. STAY FAR AWAY!!!
