Dr. Giuffrida performed laparoscopic hernia repair on my 87-year old Mother this morning. He was thorough in providing us information about the surgery and post surgery, has wonderful bedside manners, shook my Mother’s, my husband’s and my hand, showed us the before and after hernia repair procedure pictures and checked on my Mother in the Recovery Room. He put our minds at peace that my Mother was in the best hands. Thank you so much to Dr. Giuffrida and the St. Francis Hospital Medical Staff! We are very grateful!!

Dr. Giuffrida is an excellent Doctor. Not only that he is a good doctor, he is also very kind and caring. He takes the time to explain everything, so that you will understand it.He does not care how much time he has to spend with you to make you feel good.

Made me aware of what was happening before and after surgery. Explained clearly all the reasons for some of the complications I encountered. Came to visit several times during my hospital stay. He has a very soothing and comforting bedside manner.

As with any surgery, it is not fun, but with this doctor it is professional and excellent results. The staff was the best and his follow up on a personal level was superb. Could not have picked a better surgeon for a hernia. In fact we went to have one repaired and he located and repaired a total of three. Hopefully I won't have to go back, but if I do, I have a great surgeon to do the repair. His excellent bedside manner and clear explanation and knowledge of the issues are very reassuring.

Goes above and beyond. Took great amounts of time to explain findings, options and surgery. Excellent surgical outcome.
