Dr. Michael Joseph Gootee, MD

what kind of dr. doesnt follow up with a 6 yr. old patient who has been hospitalized hours after surgery continuing on for now the 6th day due to complications that for whatever reason were due to the procedure that he himself performed. whats the matter with you dr gootee? where is your pride? compassion? concern? where is your humanity? acountability ? your where is your professionalism? ethics? at this point it is clear that there is no honor support or give a dangs coming from this guy.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I love Dr. Gootee, but his PA will tell you the same thing over and over again... 8 ear infections in 6 months on my 13 month old and they won't do a darn thing for him. She tried to tell me at anytime his tubes will mature, um no lady not till he is a little older. So for the next 4-5 years I'll be dealing with him getting ear infections everytime he gets a head cold. It's bad when you know more about medical than the "specialist". Give me a break, I feel sorry for everyone child that suffers because of this place. Good luck if you choose to go here after reading everyone's experiences.

We seen Dr Gootee for my sons T&A and I couldn’t be more pleased with our experience!

The office is a mess, the front desk and personnel are rude and mean. I’ve only met the PA, never get to see the doctor. And I’m told I can’t meet him till the day of surgery. We’ll go somewhere else.

You meet the PA before and after surgery. You never see the doctor till day of surgery. Don’t even bother

My son had chronic strep throat and was referred to Dr. Gootee for an adenotonsillectomy. He was very friendly and personable at the consult and made our son feel at ease. The day of surgery, he met with us pre-op and answered all our questions. He also met with us post-op to explain how the surgery went. Would definitely recommend!

Staff gave me an appt time of 3:30pm with an arrival time of 3:15pm. I was told the appt. was at the Hillcrest office. Upon arrival at 3:10pm at the Hillcrest office I was informed Dr. Goatee only visit the location on Fridays. I called the office to verify the appt. and was told its at the Center for Health. The reception told me I needed to reschedule. Now mind u my appt isn't until 3:30pm. I explained that wouldn't work and it wasn't fair to us to reschedule due to their mishap. She said for us to come on in but we wouldn't have to wait behind everyone else. We made it to the appt at 3:28pm and was told we still had to wait behind everyone else. Both staff members were very rude and gave no apology for the wrong info given.

Super patient and extremely kind. He thoroughly examined me. Very pleased. I will definitely go see him again :)
