I saw this provider for almost 2 months, I had an open infected wound from a laparotomy that didn’t heal. One week he would tell me that he was going to fix it the next week he wanted to wait another month. He referred me to his colleague who stated that I needed surgery and the wound would not heal with antibiotics, however Dr. Harl continued to prescribe antibiotics. I started running fevers and he told me to go to the ER and they would refer me back to him. I asked if he could be honest with me and was going to ever fix the wound, I’m a young person and wanted to return to my nursing career. He became upset with this stating, “I’m definitely not doing any surgery on you now, you have to earn a surgery with me.” I’m still quite confused by his statement I wasn’t requesting an unnecessary cosmetic surgery just surgery to close and infected wound that was open for 6 months.

Unsuccessful breast reconstruction process and results. Poor monitoring and attention to serious complications.

He was very nice and professional.He took the time to find out why I wanted my procedure done.He was available to answer my questions, he even took the time to call me at home.

I had bilateral mastectomy after breast cancer diagnosis & he did the reconstruction. Years later, I need surgery again & I so wish I could go to him again but unfortunately he is now in a different state. He made a very scary situation years ago a little better. Now that I am facing surgery again I wish it was Dr. Harl, knowing I could trust him.

I had six highly visible moles removed that were precancerous, I expected to get a better result chosing a plastic surgeon as I tend to scar more then most with my very fair skin. One of my incisions split open and when I asked him about it he had no concern for it now I have a huge purple boil looking thing on my visible in swim suits. Secondly he left a stitch in my back which also has left a purple mark and I would have to have the incision re-opened to get that stitch out Lastly I was charge a tremendous about of money my advice to anyone please get your full price quoted before proceeding. Dr. Harl was a preferred provider for my insurance and the charges were shocking for this simple procedure

Dr Harl and his staff were fantastic! They made everything positive for a scary diagnosis. I wish he was still in Marquette. You lost a great Dr.

Dr. Harl was amazing. He removed a very large Benign Hemangioma from our sons ear when he was just 22 months old. It took him a total of 3 surgeries and 1 skin graft. He did such a wonderful job and explained everything so well to us to help us feel at ease as much as possible. I feel so blessed that we had him.

He's the greatest! I wish he was still at mgh.

He was amazing. I have/had total confidence in him. But it seems like he dropped off the face of the earth. Leave it to this area to drive off someone great
