Dr. Michael Lawrence Hoffman, MD

This man is absolutely horrendous and should have his medical license revoked. Rude, boorish, heartless, cold, and mean the likes of which I have never seen. I can't believe someone would treat a patient like this that came to them in pain and for help. What kind of man entrusted with patient care yells at and scolds a 65 year old veteran for "making too much noise" as the "doctor" carelessly and aggressively performed the exam. My mother is in tears after seeing this. Shame on Orange Regional Medical Center for referring such an abhorrent individual. Do not see Dr. Hoffman and do not let your family see him.

I find him on internet . His uncle was children pedriatic doctor. Just happend like this. He spend with me about 4 hours examining every bone in my body. The only problem is he didn’t take my insurance . I wonder how much money I will get it back. I have Medicare and a very good supplement from AARP. So far so good

I would (and do) travel 1+ hours each way to see Dr. Hoffman - he is easily the best doctor i have EVER seen. Absolutely worth the wait

Dr. Michael Hoffman has been treating my mother for a few years now. It is so rare to find a physician who actually listens intently and sits with you until he has figured out what action to take next. He is calm, funny and knows how to put a patient at ease. He is a brilliant man and treats people with the respect they deserve. The office is warm and friendly and beyond helpful. So thrilled my Mom is being treated by Dr Hoffman.

I went to see Dr. Hoffman with horrible joint pains. His patience, expertise and compassion have finally given me my life back. He is a unique physican and is an expert in his field. He genuinely cares and is always there for questions and concerns. I have never met a doctor so dedicated to his patients. He has restored my faith in the medical profession and deserves all the praises he so richly receives.

I could barely walk and was in terrible pain. Then I was lucky enough to see Dr. Hoffman. I have been his patient for 5 years and cannot rave enough about him. He spends as much time as needed to diagnose your problem and in follow up visits does the same. He is the most compassionate, knowledgable and caring Doctor I have ever met. I see Dr. Hoffman every month. By the way, because of his care I now walk a mile a day. His control and understanding of the medications he prescribes are amazing. If there were 10 stars I would give them to his rating.

The most well informe, intelligent, Dr. I know. ( besides my father ). He is the best!!! Not only did he keep my father alive for many years but he is my Dr. also. His staff is great also. I just love him!

Dr. Hoffman was the first doctor to ever diagnose what was wrong with me. I had been to an Internist, a Rheumatologist and an Orthopedist and no one knew what my medical problem was. Dr. Hoffman spent time with me and for the 2 years I have been his patient he has given me what seems to be the correct medications and now I can walk without much pain. He sees me every visit each month (I take Orencia intravenously monthly) and adjusts my medications according to how my arthritis is acting. I would recommend Dr. Hoffman without any problems and have done so.

I recommend him highly. My parents have received excellent care under him. He follows up, recommends excellent specialists when needed, and really cares. I just love him.
