Dr. Michael D Katz, MD

Our son was epileptic from age 2-16. Dr. Katz (who became our son's doctor by the time he was 5 years old), provided outstanding, ongoing medical care for our son. Maybe just as importantly, he guided us through this journey as parents, including dealing with our schools, summer camps, and the eventual process of weaning our son off of medication. We will always be grateful to Dr. Katz. The sometimes long-ish wait in his office were only indicative of a Dr. who wants to spend time with his patience.

So glad to have Dr. Katz caring for my son. His kind manner and wealth of knowledge and expertise have truly helped my son. I am grateful for the care he has provided.

Spent a lot of time with me and my family. Answered all are questions. Very positive experience.

It took weeks to get a call back when issues occurred .At times observations of parents and school staff were disregarded . It made a complex medical issue more difficult to deal with . Paperwork was always an issue and difficult to get what you needed filled out in a timely and efficient manner .

I called the office 4 times and faxed them three for them to fax over my child's filled out 504 Plan and the never answered me nor sent the information to the school. This has been going on for 8 months! The school may take away her 504 plan because of this. The last message I left was to call me I can fill out a medical release form, that was two months ago and still nothing. I am disgusted!

After going to see two neurologists and being highly disappointed I was referred to Dr. Katz. He spent plenty of time with my son and asked questions and also listened to my concerns. NO ego. He was courtesy, professional and engaging. And no hassle in getting an appointment.
