He is the best. He knows your symptoms and recommends what is best fit treatment. He takes responsibility.

Fabulous doctor! Makes sure to answer all of your question. Very thorough and knows what he is talking about. I had questions about certain medications and he answered all of them without hesitation. We definitely need more doctors like dr killian.

He took time to get to know me. He was always sensitive to what I was saying and dived through my multiple medicle issues in a swift manner. He's a doctor above most if you're looking for a number one.

Dr. Killian is about as close to ideal as I can imagine. He is a great LISTENER. I always go in with a fairly long list of questions/issues and he attends to MY agenda/list, not his. Yesterday he said, "Yes, the front office scheduled you for an annual physical because you are due one but if you have some immediate needs, medication questions, and needs some referrals to specialists, let's focus on those first." And later he said, "Let's reschedule your annual exam in 2 months so that the new tests and referrals are behind you and I have all of the data for review." There is one lady in the front office who could perhaps use a Dale Carnegie course or two but it is probably just her personality. It in no way compromises care at Dr. Killian's office. (I've got to where I consider her rudeness more humorous than annoying. The funniest incident was actually a kind of compliment. I asked if I needed a validation stamp to get my free senior citizen parking for those over 55---and I guess she… decided I looked too young. And she let me know that I was NOT entitled to free parking! (The mischievous side of me wanted to reply with, "I'll bet they haven't doubted your qualifications for senior parking in a long time, 20 years perhaps?" But I smiled instead. Darn it.)I know that Dr. Killian, as do all doctors, has to keep moving and see his long queue patients on schedule---and so both he & I talk fast and move right along to cover everything. (And that may bother some people.) But I've never felt that we skipped over anything OR that he ever failed to take an issue seriously. (And when he doesn't have an easy answer for something, he doesn't "fake it" or dismiss it. A justifiable "I don't know." and "I'd ask that of this specialist: Dr.____" or "You may have to do some online research on that" is what I prefer to hear when a doc doesn't know. [Example: when I asked about a clothing discomfort issue. I hoped there was a particular medical supply item which might help. His hunch was no & I'd have to look elsewhere. A straight answer is what I expect from my doc.] I think I once saw some review website where a few people complained that Dr. Killian was "short with them" or could develop better "bedside manner". I disagree. I just think there are always SOME people who complain that way about every doctor. (Or they are accustomed to going to "naturopaths" or non-physican "health consultants" who routinely schedule very long appointments and are more like rent-a-friends. They can afford to talk slow and be your pal.) But that said, I still think that Dr. Killian is a very personable and even delightful fellow. If I happened to know if from a non-professional context, I think he would be a very likable friend and an interesting person to converse with on many topics. (I can sense that from a few small asides we've had about farm photos in his office and miscellaneous things which have come up.)I suppose if someone is put off by efficiency and a systematic process that doesn't waste time, they might be annoyed (by most all doctors who know their jobs.) Some people need to learn to bring a list of their medications (and which one's need refilled) and all of the issues they need to cover (and start the session by giving the doctor an overview so that they know how to allocate the time.)Hypochondriacs might not prefer Dr. Killian. I think most everyone else will highly recommend him.
