Very good Dr. listens and cares about you

Dr. Klepper was by far the best family medicine doctor I've seen in several years. He was attentive to my concerns and very thorough and efficient in taking care of me. I would definitely recommend him to others and will be continuing my care with him.

I waited over 40 minutes to even get into a room at the doctors office, and another half hour for him to come in to see me. I went in for aches and a swollen throat, and he refused me treatment and told me he was dismissing me as a patient because I was planning a home birth with a direct entry midwife for my pregnancy and wouldn't change my mind. Mind you, I came in for a sore throat..... All he did was bully me about my pregnancy and never addressed my symptoms. I ended up having to leave and go to urgent care; I had strep throat. Basically, if you exercise your right to personal choice in terms of care that HE ISNT PROVIDING, he'll tell you he won't treat you for a regular illness. Thanks a lot, doc. By the way, do your research. The "chronic medical condition" I have doesn't have a "severe risk of morbidity"-trust me, I've lived with it for five years since I got in a vehicle explosion in the Army, and it doesn't affect pregnancy.
