Dr. Michael Gerald Knapp, DO

My mother has had him for over 30 years. She just recently came into his office with pneumonia. He said this is it she going to die. She has a stage of cancer in her lungs. My mother had found a small spot on her lung three years previously. They completed a biopsy on her lung spot three years ago. It was negative towards cancer. They tried to do a PET SCAN, but the machine did not work right. I don't think a doctor should ever tell a 91-year-old this is it your going to die. For one thing who knows and for another item. He does not know. Medicine is 95 percent guess. So let's be positive and go forward why be negative she 91 she could die tomorrow of the hangnail. I told him he should retire and he needs to immediately. I

If you’re a woman, find somewhere else to go. He disregards your concerns and is belittling. I had concerns about medications he was prescribing and how it could negatively impact my ability to get pregnant. He didn’t care. He dismissed my concerns. When trying to discuss mental health concerns he was also dismissive saying “you just need to build up your intestinal fortitude and have the willpower.” He’s an old guy stuck in his ways and looks down towards women.

Great doctor . Very genuine . Cares for patients total health . You see him not some nurse practitioner .

I just cannot say enough good things about Dr. Knapp and his staff! I was in ridiculous pain due to work related lifting and Dr. Knapp not only relieved my pain - he resolved it to the point that I was able to run a Marathon after only a few treatments. I continue to be active and have my quality of life back thanks to him. All with only osteopathic adjustment. He is one of the kindest, interesting, compassionate and intelligent Doctors you will meet. His office staff are just a great bunch of ladies! I could go on and on and never run out of great stuff about these people!
