Dr. Michael David Krauss, MD

Dr. Krauss is extremely knowledgable in his field and will work with his patients to consider the best course of treatment for them. Both my husband and I have been patients of Dr. Krauss. He saw my husband for continuous shoulder pain, and when his primary care physician assumed he had pulled his shoulder and needed a prescription to reduce swelling, Dr. Krauss accurately diagnosed that my husband had a severe neck injury, ordered an x-ray and then followed up with an MRI. He had a ruptured cervical disc, and was referred to an orthopedic spine surgeon (Dr. John Gorup) who ended up performing the necessary surgery. I've seen Dr. Krauss when I fell down in my front yard and broke a bone in my hand and then again when I was diagnosed with a torn meniscus in my knee. He recommended started with a conservative approach and gave me a steroid injection at the site. I assumed it would be painful from what others have said who had similar injections, but it was not at all bad. He had… interned at a sports medicine clinic and performed many injections over the years. He was highly skilled in this form of treatment. I'm to follow up with him soon to discuss the effectiveness.
