He was somewhat pleasant and helpful during the consultation but all follow up appointments and procedures have been awful. He’s rude and dismissive. Does not care to answer any of your questions and treats you like a nuisance.

Dr. Kulick is very knowledgeable and professional in every way. Had monthly appointments on my injury and explained and managed the process at each step. Ended up not needing surgery, and the injury healed fine. Thanks!

I first met Dr. Kulick over 22 years ago when I suffered a third degree burn to my hand working as a chef and was in dire need of a skin graft. To this day, my skin graft looks excellent; other doctors have admired my graft many times over the years and cannot tell that I have had one. Since then, I have had at least seven hand related surgeries with doctor Kulick. Over our 22 year relationship, he has guided me through many difficult workers comp surgeries, ultimately restoring the dexterity of my hands with each surgery. Dr Kulick knows exactly how to open and navigate through workers comp in such a way that all of my problems were covered and are still being covered. He is, in my opinion, an excellent hand surgeon. I most recently had both of my thumbs rebuilt (Arthroplasty), several trigger fingers fixed, carpal tunnel surgery and various other surgeries related to kitchen maladies. I am now able to use my hands again thanks to Dr. Kulick.

Excellent result! Dr. Kulick and his Administrative Assistant, Kara are the best medical experience I have ever had. They are both professional, friendly, and experts at what they do. Dr. Kulick restored my index finger and tendon in my right hand to where it was 25 years ago before the injury. He is the only Doctor that seemed confident about the repair of my damaged finger, hand, and range of motion. Others that I talked to either would not do the surgery or recommended that I not do it all. Dr. Kulick took at least an hour of his time to very clearly explain exactly what he was going to do. making sure that I understood every facet of the repair, and then proceeded to do exactly that, with the promised result. A decision to undertake aesthetic plastic surgery is a very personal experience. In my case, it took me several years of contemplation to take this big step. My primary concern was about finding the appropriate surgeon that had the technical skills and communication abilities that I could trust, with regards to my face. I reviewed websites and consulted with several surgeons in both the San Francisco and L.A. areas. I also spoke with friends who had similar concerns, many of which had cosmetic surgery performed by other doctors. After doing my research, I felt most comfortable with Dr. Kulick. He was very good with communicating with me before the surgery, as well as post op. I had some post op concerns and Dr. Kulick called me directly to get me down from my recovery shelf of anxiety. I had a lower vertical face lift and lip augmentation. Today I am very happy with my results and I would highly recommend Dr. Kulick. He deals with both physical and emotional concerns. He is the best!

Don't go to this doctor for hand issues. I ended up in whole hand splint for 3 months for a minor 5th metacarpal fracture, I lost a massive amount of motion in my entire hand. Dr. Kulick ended up having to postpone my final surgery and I took the opportunity to find another surgeon. They were shocked that I was splinted and told not to move the unaffected fingers/joints. I now am starting a rigorous PT regimen to try and restore movement to every joint in my hand. I'm 29 years old, the choices Dr. Kulick made regarding my care could have long term effects on my ability and time to restore 100% use of my hand. Please get a 2nd opinion, suffer the extra wait to get in with a proper ortho hand specialist.

San Francisco is lucky to have such a skilled surgeon as Dr. Kulick. I have flown across country to have multiple surgeries with him and I have never been disappointed with the results. He is dedicated to his patients and to his profession. I wouldn't think of going to anyone else. Ever!
