Dr. Michael Lamensdorf, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Lamensdorf for many years and trust him to take the best care of my eyes. I have never felt that I was just a number to Dr. Lamensdorf or his staff, and have always gotten in to see him very quickly when need be. I am very happy with the cataract surgery he performed on me last year and with the Restore lenses he recommended. Follow up was very thorough. I would not consider going anywhere else.

Eccentric is putting it mildly for this man. He is money hungry, and talked me into multifocal lenses after cataract surgery. After several post op visits, I sought 2nd and 3rd opinions and they both told me a patient with confirmed macular degeneration, as me, should NOT have had multifocal lenses. I had to have them removed and replaced my monofocals by another ophthalmologist, and Lamensdorf would not refund me the $2,000.00 out of pocket for the WRONG LENSES!! MALPRACTICE. Should not be allowed to practice. If there is a medical board that controls licensure, they need to revoke his.

I am more than pleased with the results from cataract surgery. Two weeks post-op and my vision is 20/20 - the clarity and contrast for reading or seeing distance is remarkable. I chose the RESTOR IOL, and although the lens cost more - it is well worth it in my opinion to not need glasses. The entire experience beginning from day one consultation through the surgical procedure and continued on through post-op care has been excellent. This review would require pages to adequately recognize the experience and skill coupled with the judgment of Dr. Lamensdorf in achieving the results I enjoy. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Lamensdorf and his staff for the caring individualized patient care I received.

Dr. Lamensdorf was the first doctor in over 50 years who knew what the deal was with my eyes. He knew the name of the condition and that my brain bleed as a kid caused the vision loss. He made me feel like a person, he knew I was smart, and he knew what my life had been like. Thanks, Doc. Irene

The staff is very efficient in explaining every point of your procedure to you. After his exam Dr. Lamensdorf is very reassuring that he can help your condition. He is a friendly gentleman. He is very knowledgeable and able to convey his findings to you in a simply understanding way. Follow up is precice. Dr. Lamensdorf is pacient and listons to your concerns. needs to retire botched my cataract surgery..

Had cataract surgery for both eyes and extremely happy with the result. Recommend the entire experience with Dr. Lamensdorf--he always puts the best interests of his patients first and is first class in his abilities. The entire office team is friendly, knowledgable, and very efficient in their duties. As a retired orthodontist who understands and appreciates office efficiency and quality professional care, I couldn't be happier with my treatment and result.
