Dr. Michael Martin Lawler, MD

Dr. Lawler is the best. He was my OB for all 3 of my pregnancies. He is kind, calm and very knowledgeable.

Thanks to Dr.Lawler and his amazing team I had a great pregnancy and delivery. I'm a foreigner and I'm so lucky because I got to deal with him. He always explains everything and does the right tests to make sure everything is fine. Now I have a beautiful and healthy baby girl

absolutely love him and his staff especially his nurse , she always kind respectful and prompt always calls right back when you leave her Voice Mail . Both of my pregnancies were very complicated but thanks to Michael Lawler knowledge I have 3 beautiful babies he always takes time to explain things over and over again if he have to and always very calm intelegent supportive and very professional , I trusted him every step of the way which is a very important relationship between Dr. and patient . Dr Lawler delivered my first child via c section in 2012. At my initial appointment, Dr. Lawler made sure to have my thyroid tested, even though I had no previous thyroid issues. Apparently, most OB's do not test thyroid levels even though having an unbalanced thyroid can lead to fertility issues and even possible birth defects. As it turned out, I do in fact have a hypo active thyroid, which I would not have known if Dr. Lawler was not so proactive. At 32 weeks, Dr. Lawler discovered that my baby was in a breach position. As the baby did not turn as they commonly do by the time I reached full term, Dr. Lawler was extremely thorough in examining the position of the baby to determine whether it would be possible for him to attempt to turn the baby so I would be able to have a normal delivery. He did an ultra sound weekly, and was able to determine that due to the position of the baby and the umbilical cord, attempting to turn the baby would be too risky. I appreciate how… thoroughly and carefully he evaluated my situation. Although I am not a medical professional, I get the impression that Dr. Lawler is the type of doctor who will discover things that other doctors would easily miss. Furthermore, my c section went very smoothly and quickly and he was very kind and compassionate throughout.

After a scary delivery of my second, I went to Dr. Lawlor and had all of the trust in the world that he would deliver my next baby safely. You are in great hands with Dr. Lawlor.

I've had a previous miscarriage, and when I found out I was pregnant again, I searched for a "high risk" doctor. The same day, I called Dr. Lawler's office. I explained my situation, set up an appt for weeks out. The scheduler also advised me that she would have a nurse call me back since I had a previous miscarriage. After I hung up, I expected a call back later in the day or the next. Almost immediately, his nurse called me back. She told me that "they'll take good care of me". Within the hour, I had my blood drawn for testing. Within 3 hours, I received a call from the nurse with a prescription (as there was indeed a chance of a miscarriage). Since then, I have received prompt and reassuring care. Most importantly, I'm still carrying my baby! Dr. Lawler and his staff are truly in my debt.

I have had 2 of my 3 children with him as the obstetrician and he is always such a joy. I always felt secure that he was giving me great advice and watching out for me and my children. Even during a miscarriage, I felt he really cared and his staff was excellent.

To me, Dr. Lawler is a man of few words. However, when he speaks, I pay lots of attention to listen. I was amazed on his c-section skill on me. It was such an ease for him to do my c-section for my baby in 2007. I recall very well, and very impressed by the hospital nurse, before c-section, that she said, dr. Lawler is really quick on his c-section (even the nurse cannot bathe the baby in the operation room, because Dr. Lawler will finish stitching back before the nurse finish bathing the baby). My recovery of the c-section, the stitches is unbelievable easy. I recommend Dr. Lawler, especially if you are going through c-section. It is his skill that I go for. But again, don't get disappointed if you don't hear him saying a lot to us ladies. Compare to other doctors, Dr. Lawler is prompt in his appointment time, instead of getting you waiting (time is precious for me, a mother of 2 young impatient kids in clinic).
