“Doctor” Michael L Smith, what a joke!! Went in as a brand new patient with critical pain not just chronic pain. Remember, 1st ever visit. “Dr” has a nasty head cold, where he’s coughing, sniffing, watery eyes. Touching me with bare hands without consideration! My wife currently is going through breast cancer with a subpar immune system and this clown is trying to send me home with a virus to pass on to her! Keeping in mind I’m in excruciating pain and easily triggered anxiety. Terrible communication wouldn’t look at me when trying to ask questions. So I fired him through my Health Advocate. By the way the office is like walking into a 1968 waiting room. Needed an update in 1969! Dirty with uncomfortable broken chairs. NOT WHERE YOU WANT TO BE!! NOT RECOMMENDED!!

I saw Dr. Smith for the first time and he was fantastic. I had not been to a doctor for over ten years and informed him of that fact. He carefully went over everything he could, sent ne for bloodwork etc. then reviewed it all with me on jy next visit. I wanted to change my appointment time for my next visit and was told he was no longer with Gilbert Internal Medicine. They said they could not let me know why, or where I could find him. Great doctor, terrible former group.

I have been seeing Dr. Smith for a few years and lately it seems he doesn't hear me when I speak. I am considering moving physicians, which is frustrating because getting a new doctor is a difficult thing to do.

Dr. Smith is excellent! He listens and takes time with me. He follows up with me when there is a concern, even if it's after hours, he'll call to let me know everything is ok (or not).

Dr Smith is a once in a lifetime find. He is really smart and spends an amazing amount of time with me. He truly cares! His office staff is kind and courteous. I would absolutely recommend this Dr !

I found Dr. Smith and his full staff to be extremely attentive, thorough, kind and professional. I could not be happier with my choice of Dr. Smith as my PCP and I highly recommend him to anyone seeking medical care. The office is very clean and professional as well.
