Dr. Michael Byron Lee

When called in for a consultation at Kaiser Ontario for a patient presenting with chronic treatment-resistant migraines, who had already been admitted for 5 days he was rude, dismissive, did not order any testing or attempt to diagnose or treat. In fact, despite the patient being at a level 7 on the pain scale, he waited SIX HOURS to order pain medication (in the meantime, nurses can do nothing). I guess he responded to the consult request because he had to, but a request is no guarantee of care. At the very least get the patient comfortable while the attending tracks down a neurologist who actually wants to practice medicine.

This s Dr. Kept repeating the same question I would answer, then insisted I wasn't telling him how I feel. Did not acknowledge receipt of nerve conduction tests. He then saidaybe you should get another doctor and hung up. I don't know what answers he wanted from me and we kept going in circles.

I had my first appointment for an extraction with Dr. Lee May 30. Both of my children had their wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Lee many years ago and I was very impressed with him and his staff at that time.. I have also referred my Dad to Dr. Lee. So I have always been the one in the waiting room but this time it was me as a patient. I knew if I never needed an extraction this is where I was going to go. I was impressed with everyone of the staff. Dr. Lee did a great job with the extraction and I couldn't be happier. Since I was a dental assistant for years I knew right away he was a true professional.

Dr. Lee was courteous, very well mannered, and attentive. He listened and gave immediate feedback. He gave suggestions and recommendations as well as alternatives.

So far, no complaints.
