Poor understanding/knowledge of childhood trauma/C-PTSD, too busy with self-promotion to be curious about patient's lives, egoistical, too high fees for his training

Re-traumatizing, too many details into his personal life and personal accomplishments during the sessions, too aggressive with word choice, unprofessional

I was profoundly disappointed in my (fortunately) brief interactions with Michael P. Libertazzo, Ed.D. He promotes himself as highly compassionate. While he may be highly successful at self-promotion, I saw no evidence of genuine compassion. Moreover, his fees (presented misleadingly on his website) are a good deal higher than those of many other therapists in the Princeton area—therapists who have earned M.D., Ph.D., and/or Psy.D. degrees. In my view, the cost: benefit ratio is not in the client's favor.

Excellent communicator. Informative and responsive to our family's needs . Displayed great patience with difficult situations . Down to earth and easy to work with. Highly recommended.
