We waited for months to get our daughter into Dr. Lloyd. She has been living in pain, unable to attend school due to neurological problems and pain. He was nice at our first appointment; we didn't receive a definite diagnosis, just an order for imaging tests and a request to follow up in four weeks. All good. We were unable to schedule with his office for follow up for 12 weeks no matter how hard we begged to get in sooner. Then, after waiting 12 weeks for a follow up, he canceled her appointment and rescheduled her 12 weeks later - still with no diagnosis or any word how to help her get better. 24 weeks of severe head pain and myoclonus and other difficult symptoms while waiting for a follow-up. She didn't have a brain tumor so he wasn't too worried. Luckily our insurance company agreed that she had received very subpar care and agreed to pay for her to see a world-renowned neurosurgeon in California after living with her untreated condition for months. Within 4 weeks we had a… diagnosis and treatment plan for our daughter. I just wish she could have received this type of healthcare in Utah instead of CA.
