Dr. Michael F Lospinuso, MD

Dr. Lospinuso was great. His professionalism was unmatched. For years I was hesitant about back surgery as a lot of people are, but after my first visit the hesitancy was completely gone. He & Sandy made me aware of everything, and had me excited to get this chapter of my life behind me. My recovery is going great. Best surgeon in the Shore. Highly recommend.

Dr. Lospinuso is very knowledgable and an amazing skilled surgeon. I had full trust in his abilities to fix my spine and had a wonderful outcome. He is kind and caring, thorough and a top notch surgeon. Highly recommend!

Dr. Michael Lospinuso is an outstanding doctor.. I went to him for a second opinion for severe spinal stenosis because of his high reputation. Dr Lospinuso took his time to listen and explained my condition and the surgery to me. He drew diagrams to make sure I fully understood. Dr. Lospinuso genuinely cared. Dr. Lospinuso performed the surgery without any problems. I was up on my feet and walking the same day, the pain from my condition was gone. My recovery went extremely well. My trust in Dr. Lospinuso was obviously well founded, and for that I thank him. I’d recommend Dr. Lospinuso without any hesitation.

Very disappointed. I was having back issues so I went to an orthopedic dr thinking he can help me. Dr Lospinuso enters the room saying what’s going on? I tell him my back is hurting and he says I’m a surgeon I can’t help you. I was taken back and said I’m not asking for surgery. I thought if your back hurts you see an orthopedic dr. He then said you have diabetes, a heart problem and your BMI is high, I’m not touching you! He was rude and dismissive. What a waste of my time. There is a way to say it, you don’t have to be rude! Perhaps an mri or recommendation to pain management??? Something, anything! I certainly would never go back to him nor would I recommend him to anyone even if they said he’s the best out there, I would never!

In my family we call Dr. Lospinuso a wizard! After being written off by other doctors that I had neuropathy and there was nothing they could do, Dr. Lospinuso was able to formulate a plan to help me because of his experience. Due to his in depth reading of the MRI and report, he saw the severe spinal stenosis and degenerative discs and was able to give me the relief I was looking for! He listened and cared about my pain and he and his staff (Christine) were helpful and understanding! I would highly recommend Dr. Lospinuso and trust him and his opinion and experience!

I saw Dr. Lospinosa a few years ago and found him to be everything I didn't need. Arrogant, pompous and a bully to say the least. Hew drew all over the table paper with a grease pencil showing me how he planned to do surgery. He kept calling me a big girl Yes a little overweight but that was his open door to make me feel worse. He compared me to his Medical assistant Christine, commenting now if you were Christine's size it would be a much easier surgery I proceded to tell him there is no one like Christine, she reminded me of a 12 yr old boy. I would never recommend any prospective patient to see him, ulnless you like to be bullied.

• As soon as I met Dr. Lospinuso I knew I had found the surgeon that I would trust my spine to. I'm glad I did because Dr. Lospinuso is a brilliant spine surgeon. He is a great diagnostician and a 'top notch' spine surgeon. He thoroughly explained the surgical procedure and my expected result and recovery. I will remain eternally grateful to Dr. Lospinuso, his surgical team, his assistants, his PA and all of the hospital personnel that contributed to my recovery.

Go to Dr Lospinuso if you want a doctor to laugh in your face over and over again about you symptoms. He kept telling me that the doctors treating me before hand had no idea what they were doing but offered no help or advice. Nothing but condescending and a bully, wish I could leave him 0 stars.

In our 82 years we have never encountered a ruder person than Dr. Michael Lospinuso,MD Curt,abrupt, and unsympathetic.

I have been Dr .Lospinuso"s patient since 2011 , and recently i have recurrence with my spine again and i was seen by Dr. lospinuso in his office following day , Dr .lospinsuo expertise has always amazed me and he listened to my issues and recommend treatment regarding my illness . i was in pain. Dr lospinuso assessed my problem and very patiently reviewed all the options with me . he is a great doctor and true credit to his profession . I have complete fate in his diagnosis skills and admire his compassion toward his patients. i only have positive things to say about his staff .
