Dr. Lotke saved my life. I'm aged out now but he took excellent care of me both inpatient and outpatient. He did everything possible to help with my chronic pain and accute pain. Heck I still use part of the medication regiment he had me on. He even had orders set in place that any time I was admitted was to get certain medications around the clock. He understood my rare medical conditions and even had me admitted to where he could help me and keep an on me when I attempted suicide because I was just in so much pain and didn't want to live like that. But he even went out of his way to find other specialist that understood my rare conditions and alway kept in touch with ALL my docs just to make sure that everyone was working together. He didn't just understand my medical but he took time to understand me as person and would joke around with just me too cheer me up. Quite frankly if I hadn't of found him I wouldn't be alive today and would've been a teenage junkie trying to self medicate… to numb the pain. I am absolutely thankful for him and he was the absolute best doctor I have EVER had!! ~Jenicee McD.

I have been seeing Dr. Lotke for three years now and have genuinely never seen a better physician. He's caring, considerate, takes the time to explain things to me, and advocates for me to my other physicians at Children's. Whenever I'm inpatient, he takes the time to visit me each and every day and make sure that my team is doing what's best for me. From our first appointment he has been nothing but kind and supportive, and takes the time to explain things to me whenever I'm confused about anything. Overall, Dr. Lotke is the best doctor I have ever had the pleasure of seeing and I would recommend him to any complex care patient.

I’m 22 now and I will never forget what this incredible god of a man has done for me. I’m getting my day to have to leave because I’m aging out of children’s. This man is the best doctor I’ve ever known in my life. He’s helped me so much. Words cannot describe how much I owe him. I have had a 7 year WONDERFUL relationship with this doctor. He saved me. I owe him my life. Thank you dr. L
