Dr. Michael Dennis Mahoney, MD

Dr. Mahoney is one of the best doctors at Eastside Gynecology. He takes his time with patients and listens. He is very knowledgable.

Dr. Mahoney is a fantastic physician. During a difficult time in my life, he was there to provide me answers in a nonjudgmental and non-biased manner. He spent time answering questions, offering resources and continually followed up at each appointment. He radiates professionalism and I will be indebted to his kindness. I cannot recommend his enough.

Dr Mahoney doesn't seem to have much with regards to people skills. He told me to put my feet in the stirrups and when I couldn't find them, asked why I wasn't doing what he asked. Watch my feet fishing around and not finding them, and I think you'll have your answer Doc! Then when he got done with the exam, he told me to sit up. He didn't offer me a hand or anything. There is no way I can sit up on those tables without help. So, after I tried once, I just laid there, and told me I could sit up again. I said "Not without help I can't." Seriously? I'm the first woman he ever examined that had a struggle getting up? He seemed to lack all confidence in his "diagnosis." Waste of my time.

Terrible obgyn. The minute he started talking I could tell he was condesensing. He made me cry 5 minutes into the appointment.... ruined my day! Definetly would not recommend for obgyn.

Dr. Mahoney doesn't like it if you ask questions. I asked why I needed a pap smear since I don't have a cervix due to surgery. He was very rude, abrupt and hurt me during the breast exam and pap smear. I bled more than a tablespoon of blood. My personal doctor advised me not to return to Dr. Mahoney.

HORRIBLE! I had issues with a migrated ESSURE implant and he just brushed me off and insisted that there was nothing wrong with me. I ended up having to get a hysterectomy because of ESSURE this Dr. and all of the Drs. at Eastside OBGYN are uncaring and unprofessional! I wouldn't even give him one star

Dr Mahoney is the best! He is super knowledgeable, helpful and very easy to talk to. I can't imagine ever going to another OBGYN

Dr. Mahoney does not communicate well and doesn't ever seem to be certain of what he is talking about. He also doesn't seem to be able to diagnose problems, which has caused me to have to follow up with other doctors, be hospitalized again, and have prolonged illness.

We had two high risk pregnancies with Eastside Gynecology. Dr Mahoney, Abundis and Hall were nothing short of amazing. They put a lot of time into explaining and addressing our questions and concerns. Our babies came out healthy due to these doctors decisions and expertise.
