Dr. Michael Suhayl Mamoun, MD

I have suffered from bipolar depression my entire life. I flew all the way to LA from Canada so Dr Mamoun could give me the newest treatments not yet offered in my country, TBS and IV Ketamine. In only one month, these treatments have genuinely changed my life. I feel like my eyes are now open for the first time. I’m not sure I was fully living before this. Dr Mamoun is amazing. He called me every night after an infusion. He truly cares more than any other doctor I’ve ever met. He also diagnosed my sleep apnea and hypothyroidism, and adjusted my medications too. I will be forever grateful to Dr Mamoun and Maryam and the other staff at CNS. They’ve truly changed my life. My daughter will be going to see them next month.

Beware - this doctor will actually get you better! The other two psychiatrists I've tried both seemed fine with just seeing me regularly with no clear plan and no end in sight. From the start, Dr. Mamoun was very direct in giving me a clear diagnosis which was not easy to hear. But I got through it, we set clear goals, and although it sounds cheesy, I truly feel like my life has been transformed. I now only see him for occasional check-ins. Life obviously isn't perfect, but this is the best I've felt in a long, long time. Awesome doctor.

It was such an easy process to register and schedule an appointment to see Dr. Mamoun. I recently moved to Los Angeles and when I looked online for a psychiatrist in this area, I came across CNSs website. I immediately felt that they would be able to address my needs. Dr. Mamoun lived up to my expectations, and Ill definitely continue to see him.

I was referred to CNS by UCLA. I thought I would have to wait months before getting an appointment, but I got in within just a couple of days. Just needed a little tweaking of my meds. Simple, fast, in and out.

I was referred to Dr. Mamoun and CNS by my sons neuropsychologist because of the range of doctors and services they have there. Our son was able to see both an educational therapist as well as a psychiatrist. It has been extremely helpful to be able to easily communicate with all of the staff members taking care of my son. It has been a very good experience and he has definitely shown improvement at school and at home.

It was very easy and quick to schedule an appointment to see Dr. Mamoun. He is a caring doctor and was extremely thorough in our initial appointment and each visit I've gone to since then. I finally feel that I no longer have to shop around for the right psychiatrist.
