Dr. Michael Charles Mareska, MD

Misdiagnosis; then referred me to someone whom he called “an expert,” so I drove an hour, after taking off work to see this expert. Not only did this expert have nothing to do with what Mareska referred me for, but when I notified the office of the mistake, there was no response. It was IMPOSSIBLE to get ANY staff member to answer the phone or otherwise respond to messages. I suffered with a serious neurological condition for WAAAAYYY too long because of Mareska. This guy made a hellish health condition much worse. I will NEVER forgive Mareska.

Has been my child's doctor for a year and saw her one time (a year ago) but has been prescribing medication for a year. Currently at ER (my daughter has had 3 seizures today...within 3 hours). DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS QUACK!!!

The only positive thing I can say about this office is that Dr. Mareska is thorough during his examination. However, once you leave the office, it is impossible to get in touch with his office unless you go back in person, and then the staff is rude. For almost a year, they have claimed their phone line is down and the problem is with the telephone company. If you can get an answering service to pick up, and you leave a message, his office doesn't return your call. His staff is rude and dismissive to patients. They project an attitude of indifference that suggests they don't want to be bothered except on the day you have an appointment. Even then they are curt and cold. If you need to get a a refill on medications, you can't get in touch with the office to have them call in a refill or a prescription. If you have any questions or concerns, you can't reach them. I don't understand how a doctor's office is allowed to operate in this way. I would not recommend this office to anyone… seeking a neurologist.

His office has returned a call of messages I left every day for 3 wks.His neglect is going to cost a person thier life strongly recommend all his patients find a new nuroligeset

Had a test in hospital which was lost then had same test redone more than a month ago and I have constantly been calling and only once got the office told lady in office what was going on and she said she would check on it and let me know needless to say I have heard nothing back from them and have been unable to get anyone on phone but answering service which can't take messages all they do is tell you to call back I have called all day sometimes over 20 calls and never have reached them again it's been more than a month and cannot get an answer of any kind so guess I'm just suppose to pray someone cares enough which they don't to tell me about my test and something wasn't right with test because I turned purple n had major pain afterwards I've never had a doctor's office or doctor not care or give results n how do you lose one in a hospital and it be lost someone definitely needs to be contacted at the medical board

I'm trying to make an appointment for my husband can't get a answer phone just busy or ringing.answering service answer saying call back never had this problem before ??

Dr. Mareska is an extremely talented physician who has always taken the time to understand my medical issues and address my concerns. I have never felt rushed during an appointment and I have not experienced the behavior described in other reviews by the staff. They are not rude, as others imply, they are busy. Treat them with dignity and respect and you will receive the same in return.

I want to give -5 star, but there is no way to do it and giving one star instead. The worst office and office staff. Rude and unprofessional. Physician who acts so nice in front of you but talk bad about you behind the closed door to his staffs. Went 5 times for insurance paper works since the doctor did not complete the form, still the dr is not willing to look at it. My work status got affected due to their action. They are prejudice and nasty people who do not care about you and your issues related to your illness. The MD’s bedside manners are very poor. He is in a rush and do not answer questions about tests and results. There are better drs than him. So I left their care. Now with a better neurologist.

I like Dr. Mareska very much. He has great bedside manner and is a great neurologist. His staff is awful. Rude, abrupt and terrible manners. It is nearly impossible to get an appointment and when you call in tot try and make one, he schedules 3 months out, and I get put on hold for 5 and 10 minutes at a time. I have never gotten a call about my lab results. I always have to call and again stay on hold for 10 minutes at a time. I am looking for a new doctor currently only because his staff is so rude and the office itself is run so poorly. Again I repeat, DR. MARESKA himself is awesome!
