Dr. Michael Patrick Markowitz, DO

Dr. Markowitz was always professional and took his time to explain things thoroughly in terms I could understand. His followup in the hospital was great; he was always checking on me, ready to answer questions. When I texted with a question concerning the wound, he called back immediately and reassured me that everything looked good from the pic I sent him. Dr. Markowitz knows how to treat a patient and more importantly, how to treat people. He approaches "what ails you" step-by-step, ramping up to what is ultimately the best course of action. Saying he's "conservative" is not quite accurate as there is never any hesitation when providing care. PLUS...and it's big PLUS...he's just just a nice man!

I was walked through the procedure so that I understood everything that would happen. The day of surgery, I was made to feel comfortable and as stress free as possible. My post op experience was excellent also. Dr. Markowitz answered all of my questions and helped me move forward.

I was in a wheel chair when I walked in. A month later I walked in on my own. Dr Markowitz was very optimistic and friendly. My surgery was scheduled fast and all testing was set up for me and ran smoothly. I highly recommend Dr Markowitz for spine issues.
